Lets forgo the hearings & have a straight up & down Senate vote. Lindsey Graham should skate this right on by to Mitch McConnell & have ACB seated on the court well prior to mid to late October... (imho, O-Course) - Chucky Schumer & others don't seem to have much need for a Senate Judiciary hearing... nor should we provide the platform for their disgusting tactics!

Those who say a setting president should not nominate a SC justice in a president's last year are only expressing an opinion and depending on which party holds the office. But like Trump said, even after the election is over he can still legally nominate right up to his last day in office. The key word is "legally". Rather than concentrate on the timing of a nomination the senate should concentrate on the qualifications of the nominee. But you can't expect that from a bunch of juveniles.

What rage ? My description of her is accurate. In addition, like the rest of government, the SCOTUS functions best when there is a balance. This provokes actual debate, rational dialogue, compromise and decisions based on scholarship instead of ideology.
