CNN’s John King: Hunter Biden is 'a swamp creature… trading in his family name to make money’

How refreshing to hear someone with clout like John King from CNN make the claim that Hunder Biden is a "swamp creature." I have renewed respect for CNN.

CNN anchor John King said on Wednesday that Hunter Biden is a “swamp creature” who used his powerful father to make money.

“Hunter Biden in many ways is a weakness for the former vice president because of his work, he was a, I’ll call it out, he’s a swamp creature. Like many people, trading in his family name to make money around the world,” King said.

Earlier this month, the Senate Homeland Security and Finance committees released an 87-page interim report detailing their investigation of Hunter Biden’s work with Burisma. The report noted that “officials within the Obama administration ignored the glaring warning signs when the vice president’s son joined the board of a company owned by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch.”
The report included a claim that Biden’s son “received $3.5 million in a wire transfer” from Elena Baturina, wife of the former mayor of Moscow.

But since Hunter won't get a job in his administration, I will just quote a member of the Trump familia, ” I really don't care”.

 

I'm not so worried about the "trading on his name" thing if that's all he was up to. Trump did the same. His kids are doing the same. As far as the rest of the OP goes, if they have evidence that Hunter Biden did something corrupt/illegal while working for that company, then they should produce it. Hadn't the corrupt oligarch in question already stepped down from the company? And as for the wire transfer, from what I've read that money didn't go directly to Hunter.

 

H. Biden gave an interview with Amy Robach late last year. He admitted he used his last name, and said he exercised poor judgement. Have the Trump's ever said as much?

I believe you are missing my point. CNN, a liberal media is accusing Joe Biden's son of being a swamp creature. I wonder how that makes Joe feel? Betrayed maybe? Disrespected?

Since I don't have Fox News I watch CNN most of the time and this is the first time I have heard CNN slam a Democrat. Especailly since it is Joe Biden's son.

I can see why a Ukraine company might hire the son of an American politician hoping they can somehow use the perceived political influence to help their business, but I just don't get the $3.5 million gift to Hunter Biden and what it was supposed to buy Russia's richest woman??? What was she thought to be buying from Hunter??? I just don't get the connection between this supposed payoff what was her return to be??/

I watch the news everyday. Always have since the Vietnam war. That was when news was not so politized. After Ted Turner started CNN it was news 24/7. And since Turner was a Democrat CNN over the years became more of a liberal media. I don't mind watching CNN but it would be nice to have Fox News as well so I could get another take on a conservative network.
