You are dealing with an individual who is desperate, DESPERATE, not to be ousted as President.

Right now there is no hint that Trump being Corona-positive is a set up to manipulate the election.

In any case, Trump will no doubt try to use the situation to his advantage any way he can.

Because, in the end, Trump DOESN'T WANT AN ELECTION. Or, more specific, Trump doesn't want there to be any evidence against him that he lost the election. Because once that evidence is out there Trump is screwed and he knows it.
He might brag about taking his complaint to the Supreme Court but even Trump knows he has zero chance of winning there.

So for Trump NO election (or delaying it) is the only way he can hold on to power.

Trump having tested positive might actually be the ''best thing'' that could have happened to him.

and the chemo was 10+ years ago, just lingering nerve damage, but survived that too

I would hate to have cancer and covid at same time as the treatment really lowers your immune system

- the American medical system is completely incompetent, because this virus wasn’t recognized at the time. But China did.
- it is more likely that the virus originated in America and was transmitted to China.
