i realize this may be beyond your comprehension, but there is the other alternative - that it is just the right thing to do. the democrats are and have been using what amounts to an emergency situation to play political games and fund their war chests at the expense of the taxpayers. a massive influx of cash into these poorly run, democratically controlled hell holes means more money for them to squander and more money for them to buy the next election and the one after that and the one after that.....

I had a problem with everything Cheney did. Pelosi and Schumer (like me and others) think Trump is insane.

 

He clearly stated he wants a clean bill. Were I Speaker, I would have approached a 1.8 trillion deal. They get a little reprieve but not a lot. And Trump would see this as a healthy compromise
