Did you forget this is a stimulus plan? That's the very definition of a stimulus plan.

tRUMP is the one making the claims without proof.
    And you believe it.
You prove she's asking for money for Dem states. NOTE: You can't. tRUMP lies.

No. That was Pelosi. Real leaders don't use other's real time suffering to get more money for people who aren't.

Difference between this and the Government shutdown is that the government reopening was necessary. Another stimulus is not necessary. Pelosi has to offer something to make it worth his while.

This is how negotiations work between the big boys. I know I could've gotten it done if I were Speaker.

Actually, they should punish McConnel for doing nothing at all on these talks.

Facebook gave 250 million dollars to far left group 100% fed up. Nothing like that contriubyution has facebook ever made to any conservative group

Tax cuts were for all who earn which is why Trump has the lowest unemployment records for all races and not a single one of your liberal presidents ever came close.

    Enjoy reality.

Getting into an in-depth discussion of Keynesian would probably be a derailment of this thread. I will simply ask this for those who believe in Keynesian economics. Is spending your way out of a pandemic the same as spending your way out of a recession?

how about giving us something more than what i can only suppose was intended to be a witty one-liner. we all know it was all trump's fault (according to the useful idiot population), but isn't anyone willing to look beyond the talking points?

Trump has nothing but another lie. If Pelosi had accepted the 1.4 trillion it would have gone to nothing. Trump was never going to give the second stimulus anyway but intended to use people's suffering to force the country to reopen whatever happens

This will lose him and the Republicans the election for sure

I was in high school, so I didn’t know what was happening at that point — nor do I care. Politicians should be elected to right the wrongs that previous administrations have done — not do the same or worse. Seems you don’t hold them to the same standards I do.

Again, and I’m not sure what you are failing to comprehend here — there should be no negotiation between Pelosi Schumer or any other member of Congress and the president. Congress has a duty to legislate and to negotiate between the two chambers, at that point the executive has the right to sign the bill into law or veto it. That you have zero issues with an entire branch of Congress refusing to do their constitutional duty shows your narrative here.

covid is just the latest in a long line of excuses used to cover the massive mismanagement of democratic run cities across the country. these cities were in trouble long before anyone had ever heard of covid and most so ineptly dealt with the situation that it may very well have been intentional. one has to wonder why it is that so many of these democratic hell-holes insisted on federal guidance in the face of this emergency, when they have for so long been ignoring federal interference in their internal affairs. could it be that they were simply looking for a republican scapegoat to solve their perennial mismanagement?

Only a trump supporter could see two parties in a negotiation and not blame the party walking away from the table while the other party tries to hash out an agreement.

Maybe if you're listening to Hannity or Fox news

    Not in this reality

    Trump stopped the negotiations

" Trump in his steroid stupor " forgot he was a dealmaker

Unemployed Americans will blame Trump for removing hope of any stimulus

Trump knows he has Lost the Election and heading for Jail

    Trump is burning Washington down

I do not live in CA so Pelosi is a much “mine” as she is “yours”
Feel free to show me where I have applauded the way either party presents themselves.
But they were at least attempting to do something in good faith in this instance, the same cannot be said about the right on this issue.

And ‘bad’ isn’t descriptive”enough but it is a good catch all term to describe him.

    You also frien!

Only a Biden supporter could see getting immediate relief money to people suffering from lockdown an opportunity to exploit more money for failed states under their control and allow those to continue suffering for it.

All we know is who took their ball And went home. The house already passed stimulus months ago. Senate should hurry up and vote on it before they’re all quarantined

The stimulus talks were becoming nothing more than a waste of time and a distraction, thanks to Pelosi's greed and stubbornness and grandstanding, so it makes sense to move the focus to Barrett's SC confirmation. We're on a tight schedule to get that wrapped up in case Trump loses the election. And whereas the stimulus helps short term, Trump's impact on the SC could last decades.

Face it. No one trusts a Republican to run a big city.
And yes they do get hit harder by the virus because people are closer together.
