Good move.....build up the Eastern flanks, and put more around Konigsberg maybe....give the vatniks more headaches as they look out their windows and see US Cavalry troops.

This should put to rest the idea that NATO is abandoning Europe.....hardly. Poland will be main bases of operations for years to come. Idk, but I'm hearing Krakow will have a large structure similar to how Pentagon is built??

Yeah man, keep that cold war going. Avoid peace at all costs! Be as belligerent as possible like Daddy Mike says.

There is peace between the U.S. and Russia. Poland is a better ally than Germany.

    LOL..."avoid peace" at all costs!!

This is to ensure it! And to convey the message that any future "adventures" will come at a cost far greater than you can bear.

So I see that the troops still haven't come home yet. So much for that promise

I thought Germany wanted rid of your troops. She is busy building up one of the strongest militaries in the world again, all to please Trump. She doesn't want or need your troops.

If Russia were moving troops into Mexico or the Bahamas, would we be complaining?

You lived in Cuba. We went to the brink of war over their missiles in our back yard. Do you remember that?

If Russia moved troops and equipment into the Bahamas, would we be angry?

We are the belligerent party in this. We move troops into their backyard and pretend we are innocent? Puh-leeze.

It's cheaper and safer to keep them in Poland, and the US Army is all about Fun Travel and Adventure, FTA. ;-)

More Fun and Travel, a bit less of the Adventure and No War is as good as it can get.

    Well...."innocent" is a loaded statement.

Russkis need to learn to keep within their confines.....they seem to get lost occasionally!

    @Eleuthera too.

I do favor Chinese and Russian forces in
    the Western Hemisphere.

At least then there is an avenue for
    mutual withdraw.

The Monroe Doctrine also meant :flagus:
doesn't mess with Old World nation affairs.

We used to have over 300 000 troops in Europe and now we are down to about 50K. I don't see the point of putting them in Poland, but if they pay for it like the Germans did, then why not. Be they in Germany or Poland it is still cheaper than having them in US.

Good idea, show the flag to Mr Putin and have a FUP for intervention in the Middle East. And people still try to claim Trump is Putin's puppet?

Putin simply laughs when he sees the American Flag.

Maybe but it makes him think twice before putting the frighteners on Poland and the Baltic States.

What a wasted opportunity. We should have shifted them to the U.S.
