He changed his mind. Big whoop. I can think of worse things he's said. Some I even agree with.

Since when is a question considered a strawman? Perhaps you should look up the definition before building your own strawman and projections.

Your misleading question has been answered multiple times. Yet you continue misleading.

He didn't change his mind. He lied. He never had intentions to release his taxes as he promised HIS VOTERS he would.
Now the courts can have fun with him. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there is a subpoena from the NY DA waiting for him
    the day he leaves office.

So they should file charges before they investigate fully? Lol
Maybe we can do that for murder investigations. No, you can’t have my DNA until after you charge me with murder.
Makes sense you also think John Gotti has his lawyer present when the fbi wants to wiretap him lol

You're basically excusing corrupt behavior under the guise that the corrupt ones are the officials, so that's okay. The irony is, you don't give this same deference to the Trump Administration. Meanwhile, I've always railed against corrupt decisions(which is different from a decision that people might not like, but isn't inherently corrupt.(See: Witholding the "funds" that the people didn't ask to give, and gave to not a single US citizen.).

I believe that the justice system must operate above board, it must be better, superior to a criminal. Any such justice system, any judge or prosecutor who takes shortcuts while operating in the system has done a disservice to justice. Impartiality only exists when we hold ourselves to this high standard.

And ironically, because it's high some people(Comey) just don't make the cut.

Did you reply to the wrong person? Your answer is completely disconnected from what I said.
They’ve got evidence that indicates likely crimes. So they’re looking for more info. Maybe they’ll see it’s not criminal. Do you want them to charge a suspected drug dealer before they search his house or car? That’s idiotic.
Is Durham not planning to collect evidence before he files charges?

Re-electing him, removing him and letting Pence finish his term is a more appealing thought than elect Biden with Harris finishing his term. Heck, I would be more comfortable with the new-age chick with the healing crystals on deck behind that 80 year old Biden than I would be Harris.

The thought that we are making private tax returns public without the consent of the person/business involved is insane. That is not what America is about.

The Leftists have turned into fascists right before our eyes.

This case has nothing to do with making the records public. This case is about a grand jury subpoena. The judiciary process doesn't maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagically become fascism just because the Dear Leader is now subject to the same laws that the rest of us are.

. . . who, in this situation, are acting on behalf the court. Of the grand jury.

The big one for me is that he reported different occupancy numbers for his properties to the IRS than he did to the banks. For the same properties. For the same year. I've tried to find a legitimate reason for why that would be the case, but I can't find any. Anywhere. Not even his most diehard defenders have offered an explanation for this. Without such an explanation, this is either tax fraud, bank fraud, or both.

When the SDNY constantly goes after Trump like while they ignored the Clintons who were far more scandalous financially, then it's political tyranny. We have a 2 tier system depending if you are an (R) or a (D).

The goal is to get them so they can leak them out. Everyone knows it. The IRS can do their job, but last time we caught those bastards leaking private tax information to Leftist Propaganda outlets.

If that was the case, we have this thing called the IRS that doesn’t look too kindly on people like that. But you probably knew that didn’t you?

trump is supposed to be an employee of the american people

every employee has a background check..even if it is a simple credit score check

I wonder what trumps credit score is ??

I agree with you but as a side note, the Constitution does require that the POTUS be a natural born citizen. It does not require the release of a tax return. Just sayin'

If that were the case he would have released them years ago.

Don’t you guys get this? Maybe you do but you are deliberately ignoring the reason the returns are being sought in this instance.

It is not about him releasing the returns as POTUS or as a a candidate.

It is not about Congress seeking them.

It is about the enforcement of a subpoena issued by a grand jury in relation to a criminal investigation. A grand jury that has found sufficient reason to issue that subpoena. It is part of the due process that is afforded to every citizen and trump’s only defense is that he, and he alone amongst all Americans, is immune from that process.

Because it is widely believed that Putin owns Trumps arse, which in and of itself is impressive real estate. If Trump is in debt to foreign nationals he becomes a massive security risk

Did you bother to read my post? This is about collecting evidence for a criminal investigation. A subpoena issued by a grand jury based on the evidence laid out before it. Not some crackpot theory.
