We all yearn for the good ole days when our potus was an articulate, thoughtful person who respected the importance of his job.

Most voters have already decided. And he is not saying what Biden's plan is to get control of the virus. No sense in talking about the economy or getting people back to work without getting the virus under control.

It was a drive-in event. Or course, if it had been a normal event, Obama blows Trump out of the water in audience, even if he's not running. But, unlike Trump, they prefer their voters healthy for election day. Social distancing was enforced.

Biden is definitely not going to get the black vote that Obama would have. And it is true that Obama campaigning will definitely help in that respect. But I think the timing was perfect. And anybody who thinks that Obama is not 1000% behind Biden knows absolutely nothing about our political environment. There is probably nobody Obama would prefer to see in the WH more than Biden. I would venture to say that if the choice were between Michelle and Biden... he would probably choose Michelle. But only to keep peace at home.

The same applies to every rally that Trump has done

He's batting clean up. And, he's using his time to get people out to vote. Sure, people have likely made up their minds, but that doesn't mean they will actually vote. It was evident his role was to get people out there to VOTE!

There is the symbolism of beginning in Philadelphia. And it doesn't matter where Obama speaks, the audience will be in the millions. You may be correct, but that's just speculation, like my symbolism reasoning.

Do you think it's working for Trump? Trump has always maintained a cult like following. Biden can't say the same.

"our political environment" Oh do tell! If Obama was really behind Biden 1000% he would have endorsed Biden months ago. I think Obama is very concerned the same will happen to Biden as it did to Clinton. Coming in at the 11th hour looks like desperation.

It's refreshing to see and hear a president who can actually finish sentences.

I suspect it's Barack's famous ego at play. He's not going to stump anywhere that he's not already worshipped. But then again, considering the pitiful turn out at this Biden rally, he's probably rethinking his decision to stump for Biden.

It’s interesting that Obama would say that when Dr. Fauci had given then-President-Elect Donald Trump an advanced (threat) warning that Trump was going to have to deal with a global pandemic during his term right before Trump even entered the Oval Office. Very interesting, indeed. Almost as though the prior administration had a petty contingency plan just in case Hillary Clinton had lost the election.

Looks like you felt I was talking about you when I said that about not understanding our political environment. I wasn't necessarily saying that. But now that I read your response, I can't deny it.

No, I was hoping you would elaborate more on what our political environment is as that could be subjective.

I am curious, was obama getting kickbacks as well? I mean there is a reason he put Biden in charge of Ukraine, and did nothing when it was discovered the Big Guy had his son on the corrupt gas company.

Why is Obama so rich now? The POTUS salary doesn’t pay that much compared to what Obama has now.

Not subjective. I don't remember ever seeing a former President endorsing a candidate for the primaries.
