    Isn't it? When you find yourself stranded because your driving didn't match the life of your battery car, then what? Walk to the gas station and hope they have a really long extension cord? Oh, and how do you suppose plastic would continue to be available in a cheap or reliable way?

    He sputtered them out last night. he told us he was going to end the oil industry. Not a lot of qualifications there. And when pressed he equivocated. Biden doesn't know, or understand his energy policy. And when he got cornered because his actual plans are those of the new green deal, and it will cost every bit of 100 Trillion dollars, he looked like his depends filled up. Since you seem to be so invested, are you riding your own cyclic generator while you type?

    LOL Biden wants taxpayers to pay for 500,000 electric car chargers on the highways. What a tax boondoggle for government.

    Americans own almost 300,000,000 cars.

    I got on the list to buy the new Hummer EV Super Truck. At over $120K, I'm sure that everyone will be able to afford one too....

    Lockdown due to a virus with low legality.
    Raise taxes.
    Abolish oil.

    Trump plans:

    Open the economy.
    Lower taxes.
    Remain oil independent.

    Actual plans. Tough choice.

    Big Oil's interest in alternatives is PR. The investment goes up when they need to burnish their image, and it goes down fairly often, and never amounts to a serious commitment.

    At that price, I'll be living in the new "Green" government housing with the majority of other Americans who can't afford to own a car or other Green New Deal "programs".

    Live close to your government-owned factory job. No central air or heat (too much energy waste). Walk to work. Just like China.

    Full capitalism evolved in the 1800s, in England, from a cooperation of business and government.

    To keep things going they passed estate taxes, took over infrastructure items like roads and water supplies, it's quite a long list.

    But that is in the real world. Feel free to continue hiding in your myths.

    The men stated those plans at last night's debate. Did you watch?

    Biden peaked too early. It's all downhill for him from here to election day. :)

    I suppose on a meta level you are correct, but Trump has been lacking. Some things like the coal mine set back requirements from waterways he eliminated were just common sense good policy he tanked because Obama enacted them (not that we are getting bunches of new coal mines). Slow-walking animals getting endangered species protections by forcing a new rule that there has to be an economic impact analysis actually adds the type of burdensome and pointless regulation that he supposedly opposes onto something we should all be able to agree on.

    Doesn't matter what he "meant to say". What he said was honesty, finally. You won't find much of that on his website. Biden is allergic to it.

    So, the oil comment was probably the nail in the coffin for Joe's hopes of winning Texas and Pennsylvania and possibly other states.

    It wasn't the only highlight of the night though.

    Trump did a great job of hammering home the point that Joe did nothing notable for 47 years, except write a crime bill which imprisoned a disproportionate number of black men.

    Joe admitted it was a "mistake" he is going to correct after he is in office.

    When? Joe, when? You were just in office.

    Actually, Google will bury any counter argument and highlight the narrative they want to drive. Google is NOT your friend when it continues to show bias through their search results.
