And contrary to your remark, they only muted Trump and Biden during each two minute initial response. Trump shouted about Hunter and lied about Joe's part of it plenty. He's truly desperate, but he did at least make a better showing of himself this time. Almost everything he said was bullsh!t, but he mostly waited his turn before spewing it out.

I didn't think that either of them came off well last night. I kept falling asleep, but maybe that was leftover anesthesia from the surgery I had yesterday morning. Plus, I voted last week.

Biden wasn't my first choice, or even my third, but most voters are centrists who lean slightly left, so he won the nomination. I find him boring, but boring is good, since what I want most is a slow news day.

Biden is under no obligation to accept the views of, or concede to the demands of, the far left contingent in congress. They won't do a damn thing to jeopardize the advances they are slowly making on issues like equal social justice and climate change.

 

No direct evidence? Did you nor read the Mueller Report? They detailed at least eight solid cases of obstruction of justice, but canlt indict a sitting president according to a DOJ memo from years ago. Part of Trump's desperation is that he knows he'll be formally charged once he's out of office, but four more years and the statute of limitations will have run out.

No. They detailed 8 possibly obstructive acts.
As painstakingly detailed in the Mueller report, obstruction of justice requires a factual determination that (Trump) acted with corrupt intent; nowhere in the Mueller report is there such a determination.
As such, nowhere in the Mueller report is there a case for obstruction of justice.

It's kind of funny-sad that Biden has been in politics so long that he's a dinosaur. He learned to lie to people in the days before videos and instant information was existent.

Well, Joe. This is the modern era (largely thanks to fossil fuels). We have "tapes" (and even videos) these days, and we can spot a liar in about two minutes. Joe lied, then called Trump the liar. That's the Democrat way; accuse the opponent of what you are guilty of.

Joe has always been a big liar. Can't trust a word the man says. His constant lying, bragging, bullying and plagiarism are why his first two presidential runs failed. He can only win if no one lets him talk for 2 minutes uninterrupted.

I'm also of the mind that more people should be voting for candidates that aren't one of the two major picks. We don't need to live by this self-imposed two party rule, but we always will unless we stop. It won't stop on it's own and the political parties won't stop it. It has to start with the people. This has been my personal policy since 2012.

In 2016, I couldn't vote for either Trump or Clinton because both were dishonest corrupt politicians. Biden is better than Clinton, and certainly better than Trump(who isn't?) but he's still not someone I truly believe in and the mounting evidence of his part in corruption only makes that determination all the more real for me.

That is, he wants to move 'assault weapons' and their magazines under the umbrella of NFA of 1934 - which covers machine guns, grenades, destructive devices, suppressors, short-barreled rifles/shotguns and others. Under this law, to register a covered item, you fill out an ATF From 4, get an FBI background check, obtain a "he's OK" letter from your CLEO, pay a tax, and wait.

This might sound innocuous until you consider - and I am sure the casual reader, ignorant of this law does not - the NFA requires a $200t ax to register each firearm.
Similarly, to register each magazine, like a suppressor, will cost $200, and you need to fill lout a form 4 for each one.
One AR15 and 5 magazines? $1200 tax.
One AK pistol and 5 magazines? $1200 tax
One Saigia shotgun and 5 magazines? $1200 tax

The object here is to make it impossible for law-abiding gun owners to afford the firearms and magazines they already legally own.
