I don't like the insurance industry being tied to a job. That does limit a person's ability to switch jobs in some cases, and certainly has a huge impact if one gets laid off.

Those who yell Venezuala, never really have a real reason why we can't provide basic healthcare to those in need.

I have my own life principles that I live by and my first rule is to be honest with self - yes, the party that I formally supported engaged in violence and spread hatred among the citizens of this country. Their followers are censoring their opponents voices. I just cannot support that, even if that means helping Trump, someone whose personality I don’t particularly like.

I agree with everything you said and then some. But let's call Obamacare what it really was, a vote buying scheme. I'm sure you've noticed the way democrats get votes is to promise people something for nothing. Imagine how gullible people have to be in order to believe we could insure 45 million people while saving $2500 a year. And if someone wasn't gullible, then they were looking for their free or subsidized insurance because they didn't want to pay for it themselves.

But the big mistake is assuming democrats actually care about the health of the people. Back when they wanted to push for obamacare how often did we hear them say 'but if it saves just on life?' They don't say that any more, probably because the people democrats pander to literally take a lot of lives, people like gangs, illegals, the peaceful protesters and so on. If they actually wanted to save just one life, then they would keep people out of the country who don't belong here because eventually they're going to take that life. They would also try to stomp out gangs and snuff out the riots, but they won't because those people vote for democrats.
