https://dailycaller.com/2020/10/21/tv-ratings-game-1-world-series-record-low-dodgers-rays/ The MLB ratings are the worst they've ever been in the Nielsen era. 9.2M TOTAL viewers. MLB commissioner is hosting an emergency meeting to "figure out why" the ratings are so poor. YES, you're all reading this correctly, a TWENTY FIVE percent drop from 2019. lol
https://sports.yahoo.com/dodgers-rays-world-series-game-2-ratings-record-233849711.html Baseball is completely failing in terms of viewership an IRL revenue. 6 "Emergency conferences" from the MLB commissioner and 10 MLB teams have expressed a concern for the sport. In case one doesn't know what happens to failed systems, quote the Yankees GM on why the XFL just failed. And then compare the numbers. Baseball is suffering and it's getting much worse. 8.9 isn't sustainable (as the MLB just expressed). How will they change their ways to get more viewers?
I missed it, dang, what was I thinking? What an epic piece of luck for Arozarena, freaking amazing! https://www.mlb.com/video/rays-come-back-to-walk-off-in-9th
The Dodgers will have a bulpen day today and this is advantageous to the Tampa Bay Rays. Walker Buehler starts Wednesday night’s Game 7 if necessary. The World Series will go to Game 7.
Nah. Dodgers Won. Cash taking out Blake snell will go down as one of the biggest bonehead moves in World series history.
I watched Game 6 and Justin Turner was mysteriously removed from the lineup after the 7th inning, which made me wonder what happened to him. It turned out that he tested positive for Covid-19 and needed to be quarantined in the middle of the important game. However, he was later allowed in to join the team for a group photo. His 7-year contract expires in this season but the Dodgers cannot be the same team without Turner.
