Florida does not have "forced mail-in ballots". Florida has absentee voting, where you have to request an absentee ballot, which is not the same as vote-by-mail, which aims to send a ballot to every registered voter (and is fraught with the potential for errors and fraud.)

Vote-by-mail has come under attack for good reason. Absentee voting has been a common and long accepted process which is not the same as "vote by mail".

Oh, and Trump voted in person for the presidential election down here (Florida) a couple of days ago.

Perhaps before attacking other posters, you should become better informed yourself.

There have been multiple stories ---- to the point of counting as "common knowledge" ---- of Democrats wanting to reduce the voting age to 16. This is a voting demographic most likely to still live at home, rely on their parents for their care, have no experience with earning money or the "real world", and be vastly more ignorant about politics than their elders, and it is assumed they would vote almost entirely for the Democrats, which is why the Democrats are pushing to lower the voting age to include these potential voters.

 

They can't strike if they aren't employed. The rest are just whiners.

Perhaps before posting on a discussion board you should look up the meaning of "discussion". Not every reply that doesn't entirely agree with you is an attack.

I was always for lowering the voting age to 18 and on consideration, I will note that most 16-year-olds I know are a lot smarter than most Trump supporters, whatever their physical age and many manage their own lives a lot better than some.

You are referring to absentee ballots. Those had to be requested.

CA has a proposition on the ballot to allow 17 year-olds to vote.

As for freedom, there is no doubt that the left (those in positions of influence) have engaged in control of information and actively attempt to shut down dissenting voices. Fake news isn't just a slogan or a slur, it is a call to truth. The second amendment is our direct method of defense from governmental tyranny and yet the left continuously tries to limit and abolish it. Left wing AG's push to convict people who have not, by our constitution, committed a crime.

The concept of more government through social programs and ever increasing regulation is in direct conflict with the entire idea of a free people.
