Questions for Biden supporters

I will not have to pay quite as close attention to politics for a while, but it is a very marginal benefit.

Other than losing sleep some nights over pondering the utter betrayal I felt at my senator's reaction to L'Affaire Ukraine, not much. Although it has caused some family friction with my grandmother.

Fortunately no matter whose butt gets to warm the seat of the Oval Office, our lives are not much impacted on a day to day basis by it. The internet isn't going anywhere. Sports, movies, and tv shows will still be a thing. I'll still have AC in the summer, heating in the winter, and indoor plumbing with fresh water all year round. Regardless of the outcome of the election, I feel exceptionally lucky to have been born in a country with a very high degree of personal freedom, which is the most economically privileged in the world, and at a time when we are far more technologically advanced than any other prior point in history.

We might get caught up in the fervor of politics, but the amount of effect we can personally have on it is generally no more than rooting for a sports team. It is always healthy to remember that having the privileged to be able to complain about such things is a luxury often not available to our fellow human beings who were unlucky enough to have been born in the wrong place and at the wrong time.

 

But you are quite happy bailing out farmers because of Dirty Donalds failed China tariff policies????? And his steel tsriffs which hve done diddley to bring steel industry jobs back to the USA, but have cost Americas consumers millions in replacement costs for appliances and autos.

 

Can you show me how a feeble, disoriented old man who makes one campaign appearance every three days can possibly compete with someone doing three campaign stops every day?

 

The steel mills were shut down from over-regulation by the Democrats. If you'd like to start your own mill, or revive one closed from Democrat over-regulation, please feel free. It'll take you years, though. Don't let your impatience get the better of you.

 

There are no guarantees in this world.

That said, I prefer more stability in the White House. No crazy tweets that rock the stock market. No personality clashes with allies. No trade wars. No Reality Show antics.

The tone at the top filters down through our society. Right now the tone coming from the White House is confrontational and lacking common curtesy. I want stability and calm to return.

I think that Biden will be more prone to that type of vibe. Trump likes to wind everyone up. So guess what? The country is wound up and angry. Not a good place to be.

 

I'll be quick to judge anybody who tortures children any day of the week. There is absolutely no excuse whatsoever. It's a crime against humanity, and anybody who had any role should be tried. And if the country's court won't, international courts should hold a trial and those found guilty sentenced just like other Nazis were sentenced in Nuremberg.

In any of all cases, and at a bare minimum, the person responsible should never ever be re-elected. We are talking about children, you know....

 

Are you referring to torturing children by putting them in cages like Obama or are your referring to them being separated from their parents like Obama?

Obama was the president prior to Trump.

 

Don't think hes gonna be voting for Obama anytime soon.

We expect that identical level of concern from you toward the 14-year-old female neice of Hunter Biden's shown in hundreds of suggestive photos on his computer. We are talking about children, you know!

 

Just reminding him that any such punishment which Trump should receive, Obama should receive the same punishment.

If one doesent want Trump in office so we can progress, you do.
We are regressing with Trump, And going back to a recession.

Because you get lost following conversation does not mean the discussion has drifted.
We cannot have both trump and Biden in office.

 

Lets use a bit of logic. Neither Obama or Trump actually tortured a child. Neither Obama or Trump put a child in a cage nor separated them from their parents. That was all done by other people. They were done as a result of policies which may or may not have had anything to do with Obama or Trump. They were actions taken at lower levels based on procedures put in place by someone above the the people doing it..

Those policies don't just magically change when we get a new president. They continue on for some period until the policies change or do not change. So, if they were there under Trump, they were most likely already there under Obama. Unless you can somehow connect Obama or Trump with these, there is no case.

He was the one who established these policies. Policies which carried over to after Trump became president. That Obama.
