The Democrat Party picks their candidate in the primaries. This year they shut out Tulsi and Andrew Yang and pulled dirty tricks for the second election in a row against Bernie Sanders. They effectively use their massive media arm to silence and smear the people they don't choose and to raise up the ones they want to win. They cheat their own voters to keep the establishment alive. Half the country doesn't seem to mind not having an actual voice.
