All musicians borrow from others I reckon. Sometimes it's a homage. I was totally gutted and devastated when we lost John Bonham to the world. Has there ever been another as good? I mean in terms of being a musician as much as technique. The guys in Zeppelin loved their music. They weren't cynical enough to be a singles band at the time, I wonder if their detractors have anything to say about that? In my view the best band ever, and so much to thank America for for Zeps inspirations, as well as everywhere else, including British folk music.
Yeah, well, the 'electors' can meet-and-greet, eat trenchers full of Beluga caviar, and drink Dom Pérignon until it comes out of their ears -- nothing (NOTHING) will be completely final until the court case(s) end -- and that won't be overnight.... Just so that you don't misunderstand me, I'll repeat -- AGAIN -- what I said before: Trump has lost this election. But, it will be a while before Biden is truly, and finally, declared the winner.... But go ahead and start your own victory parties. Why not? A lot of us on the Right did, right after Hillary got her ass waxed in the 2016 election... and yes, it is BIG FUN! So, enjoy! . "Here comes 'Obama 2.0', boys and girls -- let the party begin!"
I'm not really celebrating a Biden win. I'm celebrating the fact that a pig is going to be escorted from the White House.
Well for one she was a co-sponsor of the $94 trillion dollar green new deal. Death to the American economy.
I won't be surprised if Biden and Harris are declared winners. If that happens, I don't think that there will be anything Trump can do about it. Trump had his chance. Never again.
Oh, how I WISH we could have a president with even half the integrity, intelligence, and courage of Helmut Schmidt! I have nothing but the most sincere respect for that wonderful man.... Adenauer, of course, was affectionately remembered as the 'guiding hand' that led Germany out of the ashes of defeat after WWII... handling the very delicate balance between the U. S. and the Soviet Union at a time when Germany's future was dark and very uncertain. "Der Alte" was loved by all Germans, except the Communists, I think. Herr Strauss I don't have much knowledge of, really, but I never heard any of my friends say a bad word about him.... I don't have the time right now to recount some of the impressive points concerning either the German public education system, or its healthcare provisions -- but from everything I seen and from everything I've heard from my long-time German friends, both are 'head-and-shoulders' better than anything envisioned by 'neo-socialists' in the United States. Our public education system is a total SHAMBLES, and it costs property-owning taxpayers in this country a FORTUNE -- a totally-failed wreckage that has more to do with 'babysitting' than it does with actually learning anything. Healthcare has gotten to be a miserable mess because Democrats used heavily-subsidized medical insurance as a means to buy votes from people who don't, won't, or can't pay for it themselves. "Free stuff" is always very popular among this segment of our American population, and they'll vote for anyone (even someone like Joe Biden) if he stands for a platform that just GIVES it to them. **** And after that walk in the 'Natur Park', I'd love to go have a few glasses of Riesling in the beautiful Ahrtal! Oh, I wish I could get on a plane and GO, right now!
Absolutely nothing ever like the Mighty Zeppelin. It's a blur though really to me as toward nominating a best. Beatles, Stones, Floyd and Zep seemingly sit at the top. How did we get off onto this? Oh, yeah, Trump's spiritual advisor and the Zeppelin having played the Summit. Trump, I'll be pleased to see him gone if this election plays out in favor of Biden. I kinda like it when the President fulfills his role as Head of State, which Trump has failed at miserably.
I think of this guy as a kind of proto-Bonham. Definitely an ass-kickin' drummer! I was fortunate enough to have seen Zep twice...... once in '73 and then again in '77. The '73 show was the better of the 2. Maybe that was due to being right up front dead center for that show and being in the balcony in '77. Also saw Plant 4 times solo, Page (with The Firm) twice and Jason Bonham (in Bonham) back in '89.
I think we can agree he's been in politics way too long. I see no signs of dementia. It's a right wing talking point without any merit. Weasel? Sure; no more than our current president. He's a sleeze, through and through. I expect we'll completely agree on many more issues than usual, going forward, though.
Well then you can "not really celebrate" the fact a pig is presumably going to be escorted into the White House. That's some consolation prize there...
Huh? Our president has many more allegations of sexual assault than the fake ones the republican party has been trying to sell. Biden is a practicing Catholic who is in love with his wife. Trump is a non religious person who cheats on all his wives, and has 45 accusations against him for some level of creepy assault. You are barking up the wrong tree.
Tell me, old friend, does this look like a weasel or a pig? That's about as porcine as a pig can get...
Thanks to this demented old weasel, as you call Biden, you still can vote for a President in four years time. That would have been difficult with Trump as by then he might have crowned himself Eternal Emperor. In case you haven't noticed, Trump doesn't like to be bothered by an electoral process that might put him out of a job. But perhaps you don't care about Trump taking away your voting rights. Because demented fascist weasels, like him, tend to do that.
Huh, what? Did you not watch the video? Do you find Biden's behavior appropriate and/or acceptable? That's not how my father taught me to behave around females, and he never needed to tell me to keep my hands and mouth off little girls. The camera doesn't lie. As for allegations, they don't qualify as proof. Biden is a Catholic In Name Only who has been refused communion on account of his support for abortion. I happen to share his position on this issue, which is contradictory to that off the RCC, and that's why I am no longer a Catholic and neither is Joe. As for whether or not he loves his wife, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but his behavior is completely disrespectful to his spouse. Which has nothing to do with Joe Biden being a pig, or a Catholic in Name Only, for that matter. If you're pretending Joe Biden isn't a pig I am barking up the right tree.
Oh my lying' eyes... And Coonman Northam never admitted to being in a racist photo. By all means, do go on - I pay good money for the entertainment around here.
Whoa.... Gwinnett county just jumped Joe's lead from 1500 to 4263 in Ga...... I think that pretty much has to be the end of all non military mailed in ballots at this point... Huge jump...
Looks like you'll be headed for your hike first. God knows when we'll be leaving Lawsuit & Recount Land. Where ya headed - up into the Blue Ridge?
I wish... my kid has a fondness for the Dolly Sods hikes of WVa... ever been out there? Pretty desolate, but beautiful... long drive for a day hike, but now that he can drive (and I'm not terrified of being a passenger), it's OK.. Wouldn't normally consider it in Nov, but supposed to be 65 out there tomorrow... almost a heat wave...
