    https://meaww.com/michael-moore-pra...mbrace-the-far-left-abolish-electoral-college

In his open letter, he urged Biden to change the White House 'like FDR on steroids' and also avoid the mistakes that were made by former POTUS Barack Obama

"You need to sign executive orders and cajole, demand and shame Congress into action. And GO BIG! Eliminate the Electoral College through the National Popular Vote Act! DONE!"

Obama didn't listen to Moore, and Biden is basically Obama 2.0, so Moore isn't exactly a very influential dude at this point.

    Next.

I feel like Biden is more easily influenced than Obama is. Obama was also young and alert and not doing things just to shut people up and getting them off his back

Well, get back to us after the first year Biden is in office and see if that's true.

In 1917 the "people" were all for the Russian Revolution, they hated the damn foreman that they worked for in the factories, they wanted CHANGE. They got it, now that same foreman wasn't just a dick, he was a dick with a machine gun. Be careful what you wish for left.

Moore is too interested in actual buffet issues, he only says things on the internet because he's waiting for a plate change.

Michael Moore a 'Liberal Overlord'. Marks for comedy, if not for accuracy.

Ok, we have a tradition to oppose socialism and other Marxist ideologies. We wouldn't have near the opposition to it if it weren't for the rise of the Soviet Union and the Cold War. Anyone who has been alive during the existence of the Soviet Union, even those alive in the 1990s is biased. Including myself.

After reading the article, I suddenly have the feeling that socialism might have answers to problems that we've turned a blind eye to since the red scare. Finding such answers to the problems that led the Russian people to revolt and try Communism might merit a look at the conditions of history, look for an unbias point of view, but who has the time?!

Yes we have a tradition to oppose socialism and other Marxist ideologies. We also have an anti- fascist tradition that most Republicans have chosen to ignore.

Perhaps you should remember how, four years ago, Michael Moore predicted with chilling accuracy how the people would
f*ck up the system and vote for Trump.

    The jobless and penniless.

and, thanks to the Corona virus, those same jobless and penniless almost managed to get Trump re-elected. The SAME Trump who doesn't give a f*ck about 244.000(!) Americans dead from Corona or an economy ruined.

Never underestimate the wrath of angry voters. They don't per se like Trump or Presidential nominee Mister X.
No, they just like to complain...

And in the process, as Moore said, blow up the whole godd*mn system that they feel abandoned them.

This is why Trump-voters are so upset about him losing the election.

They didn't get to re-elect the man who represents their anger

and burns America to the ground.

I have news for you, Biden is a globalist and believes in Soros' one world government run by Washington militarily, and economically by the large corporations - which by the way, are all owned by the same people. This is why small business' are being bought up by hook or by crook by the mega corporations, and the lock downs and the ensuing bankruptcies are facilitating them.

Notice how Biden says he wants to close all the small business' and give them government support, but not the corporations. In other words, individual proprietorship will cease to exist so that everyone will become dependent on the government - except the billionaires of course.

This is what they mean by a 'reset', and which I consider as evil as the Soviet Union - which was nothing more than an enslavement of the Russian people and Eastern Europe. The USSR plans was to impose their communist system on the world, but Stalin was realistic enough to know that he can't conquer the US when everyone has guns, so he gave it up.

The American people are being deceived big time.

How about some reality, because this might be coming to us. Tsar Nicholas II had a free press and it was used by the Bolsheviks to feed lies and propaganda. No difference than today.

I think that will wind up being his best.

Hard to imagine people being treated like people here; assets to be cultivated instead of a resource to be strip mined.

I expect we will continue to find civilisation beyond our grasp.

The old meaning of socialism was the economy being owned and operated by the government. Which is not much different from the Soviet system in the USSR.

The new meaning is that you have robust social programs.

We know the Soviet approach didn't work, just as we know robust social programs do work.

The American Right, being goofy as all get out, tries to confuse people by talking about the old meaning of socialism when they are talking about the social programs that are part of the newer meaning. While they have been doing this for generations, they get upset when somebody points it out.

Which is usually funny. Although a lot of them just stay silent, and pretend they haven't just been debunked.

But the MSM is owned by 6 mega corporations. Why do you think they keep spinning the truth against Trump?

Anyway the one world government that the liberal elites are pushing for, will not come about. It will be interrupted by WWIII.

Spinning the truth against Trump. I agree they are telling the truth about Trump except Fox of course. In Michel Moore's movie he visits other countries to claim good ideas to bring back to the United States. As a former teacher I liked what he found in the Eurpean approach which looks much better to me than the American teach to the test formula. which we teachers mockingly refered to as the Every child left behind way. My youngest daughter graduated with a degree in elementary education but never went into teaching because she found the teach from a script method too stilted for her creative spirit. It's too bad she would have been a good one. She went to school in AZ, and when ahe was finishing student teaching we flew out for a vist and got to meet her college supervisor who told me that they probably learned more from her than she did from them.

Instead of more social programs and dependency on the government, which can only lead to tyranny and the imposition of standards that might not be agreeable to everyone, why not take away all the regulations which have been hindering growth and allow free enterprise to thrive?

That way, every man can use and develop their own abilities in whichever way they choose, and without any imposition by others? Isn't that how our country grew?
