    1. I believe mail in was MUCH more than doubled..
    2. The incumbent is a do*chebag, counteracting the normal incumbent advantage
    3. I have no problem with the GOP spinning their wheels... I've said that since day 1 post election... And as a bonus, some of these lawsuits, and the judges responses to them, are highly entertaining... More so than old Joe working on his COVID and foreign policy plans...

But somebody better get that chick at GSA to begin the transition process in the meantime, because some pettiness can be dangerous...

    1. The # for 2016 is 33 million and Pew estimates 65 million for 2020.

    2. So trade Trump for a guy that gets handsy with little girls? Good choice!

    3. Joe doesn't need to work on any plans ..... that is being done for him. All he has to do is read the teleprompter (difficult for him on some days "end quote" lol).

The next time that I will respond to you prior to the SCOTUS accepting or rejecting the Trump Challenges to the 2020 elections. I believe that the SCOTUS will issue a ruling favorable to Trump. You claim that it will be a unanimous rejection. So, we disagree about what is going to happen in the future. We will leave it at that until the future becomes the present or past.

It is called spin. The fact is that the Georgia SOS Raffesperger is hitting two targets with one stone. The current Georgia State laws enacted in 2019 called for a risk-limiting audit, and set ground rules for requesting a full recount. A risk-limiting audit is a random audit of ballots already counted. As long as 90% is accurate, the they pass the audit. That same law gives both the Election Officials, including the Sec of State, the right to call for a recount if the margin of victory is less the .05%. Since the margin of victory is only .03%, the Raffesperger first announced a recount on November 5th. By the state law, that recount will be conducted by hand. So, if you are already doing a hand recount of the Presidential elections by hand, it would naturally satisfy the necessity for the audit. So, it does make sense to use the Presidential, that is already getting hand recounted to fulfill the audit requirement. AP has taken the Raffensperger's statement out of context, and ignored the other facts. That is what we call spin.

Great sources. A Washington Post article that references a letter that they have supposedly seen, but no one else can, and a CNN article that does not exist. Keep up the good work!!!

I NEVER claimed anything about a "unanimous rejection".

I would suggest that you look up the definition of "per curiam".
(It is always prudent for one to know the definition of terms before they comment).

As far as "favorable to Trump"?

We shall see what we shall see.

In any event, if the Court were to waste time on actually hearing any of these "issues", and deciding on the merits:

Whatever they have decided WILL NOT alter the results of the Election.

Biden WON! Period! That is Final.

You’re the one doing the sweeping. You now coddle a sick president in denial that he lost. He poses a threat to the country by not cooperating with Biden's transition process and by preventing Biden from receiving the critical daily briefings a President elect must have before stepping into the office of the Presidency. And you applaud Trumps effort to destabilize the presidency in this manner.

Cowardly Trump has claimed election fraud in the past and the claim was shot down by a majority Republican Senate because it was asinine. You don't learn from the past. You insist on enabling a sick president in denial who is now a detriment to our country’s safety. At least 70% of Americans know that Biden is our next president. Your contempt for the will of the people in this instance is sad. Every time Trump loses he claims voter fraud without proof. You fall for his factless claims every time.
Regarding Trumps 2016 claims of election fraud see below:

    True.

Trump's Fantasies are Ludicrous, and his claims about "Election Fraud" have no basis in reality.

Trump's unhinged rants have ZERO Credibility.

Actually, 100% of the world knows that Biden is our next president. Hell, he's pretty much the president in all but taking the oath now..

The drug companies are working with him.... Foreign Nations are SALIVATING to work with him (even most of our adversaries prefer dealing with a tough adult vs a child)... The Pope has already called him..

He was more of a POTUS just riding his bike yesterday than anything I've seen over the past 2 years...

Lol Trump claims voter fraud whether he loses to a Republican or a democrat and this is a fact you pretend doesn't exist. Your entire post is built on a framework of Trumpian inability to face the truth of his losses and then his showing contempt for the public by claiming voter fraud without any evidence. He does it every time but you post it as if is something new. Worse is the fact that you support Trump's very threat to the office of the presidency by supporting his refusal to cooperate with the transition process which forces Biden to be poorly prepared once he steps into the office. You also like the fact that Trump is not giving Biden the daily critical intelligence briefs that every president elect requires before he takes office. In short Trump is undermining the office of the presidency and has no respect for American democracy and you share in his beliefs.

You lap up all of Trumps claims of voter fraud whenever he loses even though he is now tearing apart the office of the presidency

Then again the left has spent the past four years trying to frame Trump for treason, calling his Presidency illegitimate, ignoring his admins accomplishments and smearing his Presidency. But a two week pause for their new guy is unbearable? Oh please.

You have it backwards. It's not a recount serving also as an audit. It's an audit, period. Recounts can be requested after certification (where margins are less than 0.5% (not .05%). So, if Trump still wants a recount (and Raffensburger naturally hopes not) he can ask for one then. In that case, the recount would be done by machine, not hand.

The only reason all the ballots are being counted for the audit is that audits are done on random samples, not every ballot. The closer the margin, the larger the sample needs to be. In this case, the slim margin means a very large sample is needed and it's actually easier, logistically, to just count the whole lot rather than go through the convoluted process of randomized sampling.

Lol your repeating your B.S. over and over. There is no definitive proof that election fraud to place in 2020.
Once again you run away from the fact that Trump in his sick denial is endangering our country. I've mentioned this in several posts and each time you avoid the fact that Trump is destabilizing the office of the Presidency by refusing to cooperate with Biden's transition process and by neglecting to forward critically important intelligence briefs to Biden. You're like the ostrich with his head in a hole. Here's my evidence but I've yet to see evidence on your part. The fact is that Trump claims fraud every time he loses. . You're aiding and abetting a sicko nutcase who has contempt for democracy and the office of the Presidency. Here's my proof now where's your proof otherwise. Oh as usual you don't have any.

You're the one trying to dodge and divert with your B.S. this is about THIS election and huge problems with it, like ballots being massed mailed to unconfirmed addresses and then not being signature verified when returned. As the NYT front paged in 2012 absentee and mail in voting are the to must things susceptible to voter fraud and the Democrats since then have made that even easier and then get judges to unconstitutionally go along with it.

"Yet votes cast by mail are less likely to be counted, more likely to be compromised and more likely to be contested than those cast in a voting booth, statistics show. Election officials reject almost 2 percent of ballots cast by mail, double the rate for in-person voting.

“The more people you force to vote by mail,” Mr. Sancho said, “the more invalid ballots you will generate.”

Election experts say the challenges created by mailed ballots could well affect outcomes this fall and beyond. If the contests next month are close enough to be within what election lawyers call the margin of litigation, the grounds on which they will be fought will not be hanging chads but ballots cast away from the voting booth....

    ..
The trend will probably result in more uncounted votes, and it increases the potential for fraud. While fraud in voting by mail is far less common than innocent errors, it is vastly more prevalent than the in-person voting fraud that has attracted far more attention, election administrators say.

In Florida, absentee-ballot scandals seem to arrive like clockwork around election time. Before this year’s primary, for example, a woman in Hialeah was charged with forging an elderly voter’s signature, a felony, and possessing 31 completed absentee ballots, 29 more than allowed under a local law.

The flaws of absentee voting raise questions about the most elementary promises of democracy. “The right to have one’s vote counted is as important as the act of voting itself,” Justice Paul H. Anderson of the Minnesota Supreme Court wrote while considering disputed absentee ballots in the close 2008 Senate election between Al Franken and Norm Coleman."
    https://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/07/...il-faulty-ballots-could-impact-elections.html

We need a full audit as much as can be had due the fact that once ballots are opened and cast they cannot be tracked and no record of the "cured" by partisan poll workers kept, when ballots were received. We cannot allow the integrity of our elections be diminished by the manner in which the Dems and liberal judges are trying to do.

So now you're advocating that people especially the most elderly and vulnerable among us have to risk hospitalization or death in order to vote. Your entire thesis is all about destroying democracy. Not one person in this country should risk hospitalization or death to vote. I repeat for true democracy to exist in this country Not one person in this country should risk hospitalization or death to vote in this period of covid-19 which you pretend doesn't exits. Your thinking is beyond reality and like Trump has no real concern for the Democratic process. You don't have the intestinal fortitude to admit that Trump calls fraud every time he loses or every time loss appears imminent. You know his to be true but you won't be open about Trump's machinations. Your not fooling anyone.

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — The now-disbanded voting integrity commission launched by the Trump administration uncovered no evidence to support claims of widespread voter fraud, according to an analysis of administration documents released Friday.
In a letter to Vice President Mike Pence and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who are both Republicans and led the commission, Maine Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap said the documents show there was a “pre-ordained outcome” and that drafts of a commission report included a section on evidence of voter fraud that was “glaringly empty.”

I forgot to add this. Trump absolutely knew at all times that covid-19 was a major factor in how people would vote. Despite this he purposely tried to disenfranchise millions of voters who had no choice but to vote by mail in ballot by scaring the hell out of them as to how useless their ballots were. But nobody ever must be told that the only way to vote is in a way that leads to hospitalization and/or death. Trump knew this but ran his terror campaign against the mail tin ballot causing even more fear and concern. You actually endorse the fact that Trump is failing to admit over 10 million cases on his watch. He is a tragic butthole who prides himself on deceiving the American people.

As far as the NYT you statement is false. You can't predict when it will block someone and when it won't. Few users need it more than 10 times. Also you get another 10 by using another search engine which is easy to do apparently except for you. Most people have more than one search engine.

Trump knew months before the election that millions of vulnerable voters would not want to face hospitalization or death from covid-19 in order to vote in the presidential election, So instead of doing everything possible to help the vulnerable among us he did just the opposite and did not in the least come up with ways to make it easier for the more vulnerable to vote by mail in ballot. He could have increased the capacity for the U.S postal system to handle more votes. Instead he tried to terrorize the least able of us into thinking their much needed mail in ballots would be useless and go nowhere. This coward won't even acknowledge 10 million hospital cases on his watch from covid-19 which simply proves this reprobate president could care less about the American people who face a life and death struggle

Here Are The (Debunked) Voter Fraud Claims Trump And His Supporters Are Spreading

Viral posts circulating Facebook claimed more people had cast ballots in Wisconsin than there are registered voters, but was debunked by fact checkers as incorrectly reporting the number of registered voters in the state.

Viral posts circulating Facebook claimed more people had cast ballots in Wisconsin than there are registered voters, but was debunked by fact checkers as incorrectly reporting the number of registered voters in the state.

A conspiracy theory dubbed Sharpiegate that trended online said officials in Arizona’s Maricopa County were giving Trump supporters Sharpies to fill in their ballots so they wouldn’t be counted, but was debunked by officials who clarified sharpies are accepted by vote center tabulators and provided to everyone in the county.

A viral video, shared by Eric Trump, showed over 80 ballots for Trump being set aflame, but was debunked by Virginia Beach city officials who said they were not official ballots.

A viral video purported to show suspicious activity in a vote-counting center in Detroit, Michigan, but was debunked by local news station WXYZ Detroit which said it was a photographer loading his camera into a wagon.

A voter in Clark County, Nevada, said a mail-in ballot she never received was returned and accepted so she could not vote in-person, but was debunked by Clark County Registrar of Voters Joe Gloria who said her signature matched the one on the mail-in ballot.

A video purported to show vote counters in Pennsylvania fraudulently filling out blank ballots, but was debunked by Delaware County’s public relations director who said the counters were fixing damaged ballots.

A graphic shared on social media suggested Michigan had counted thousands of fraudulent voter registrations, including some from dead people, but was debunked by Politifact which sourced these false claims to a lawsuit filed months before election day seeking to maintain more accurate voter roles (it did not allege dead people’s ballots could be used to commit voter fraud).

A tweet embedded in a Daily Wire article said four people under the age of 18 had voted by mail in Nevada, but was debunked by the voter registrar’s office which clarified no votes were cast by anyone underage.

A QAnon conspiracy claims that many Democratic votes are fraudulent because their ballots lack a secret watermark produced by the Department of Homeland Security, but was debunked by fact checkers who point out that the DHS is not involved in making ballots.

An exposé from Project Veritas, an investigative outlet run by right-wing activist James O’Keefe, claimed a whistleblower had been told by U.S. Postal Service higher-ups to backdate late ballots so they would still count, but was debunked by local and state officials who said ballots received after Election Day would not be counted.

    TANGENT
Trump and his allies also continue to claim that election officials in Michigan tried to ban Republican poll watchers. There is zero evidence of this.

    KEY BACKGROUND
Since the early hours of Wednesday, when Trump falsely declared victory in the election, his campaign has put its energy into vindicating this alleged fraud, filing lawsuits in several swing states which have mostly been batted away by judges. “Come on now,” said Michigan Judge Cynthia Stephens on Thursday afternoon as she denied a lawsuit she described as backed by “hearsay evidence.” Twitter and Facebook have flagged much of what Trump has been posting as misinformation and even Trump’s allies have been notably hesitant in supporting his crusade.

“IF YOU COUNT THE LEGAL VOTES, I EASILY WIN THE ELECTION! IF YOU COUNT THE ILLEGAL AND LATE VOTES, THEY CAN STEAL THE ELECTION FROM US,” the president said in an official statement on Thursday. The president previously demanded on Twitter that election officials “STOP THE COUNT.”

    CHIEF CRITIC
“There are suspicious partisans across the spectrum who believe widespread election fraud is possible,” wrote former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove in the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday. “Some hanky-panky always goes on, and there are already reports of poll watchers in Philadelphia not being allowed to do their jobs. But stealing hundreds of thousands of votes would require a conspiracy on the scale of a James Bond movie. That isn’t going to happen

I haven’t heard that any cases are even on the path towards SCOTUS. Which cases do you think will get there?

People should feel outraged by these calls, whatever their political affiliation.

The "voter integrity group" is openly stating that it's using the USPS National Change of Address registry (NCOAlink) - it's ILLEGAL to use this for anything other than mail (e.g. updating mailing lists, direct mail advertising). And, as the Agreement points out, violations of this contravene the Privacy Act. Not only that, but in the most egregious way - their vote is an extremely private issue.

I can only hope that someone's going to call them to account, and sue them into oblivion, personally or otherwise.
