BLM's Patrisse Cullors claims that her organization is responsible for the Biden - Harris victory and therefor deserves to help set the new administration's agenda with BLM's demands.

What are your thoughts on Cullors' opinion that BLM was instrumental in Biden's victory and therefor should have a role in Biden's policy making?

"BLM co-founder sends message to Biden: 'We want something for our vote'"
    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/blm-co-founder-to-biden-we-want-something-for-our-vote

EXCERPTS "Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors requested a meeting with President-elect Joe Biden to discuss the movement's agenda and lay out expectations for the incoming administration.

"Without the resounding support of Black people, we would be saddled with a very different electoral outcome," Cullors wrote in a letter to Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Saturday. "In short, Black people won this election."

Cullors plans to hold Biden's feet to the fire, saying that Black people "want to be heard and our agenda to be prioritized." CONTINUED

Well talk is ok but defunding the police is the mark of someone with their head up their anus.

Biden will have a difficult time herding the Democrats and.the allies. It will be like herding cats.

Gosh.... Watch the Biden Harris team capitulate to the BLM. It's like watching everything democrats accused Trump of doing, but they are actually doing it. In public. They have no shame.

Personally, I would recommend that Biden/Harris do nothing to legitimize BLM.

Even if that means refusing to meet with BLM.

If Biden doesn't meet and if he doesn't meet demands, cities will burn. You know how this goes.

BLM hurt Biden more than it helped.

I imagine Biden will meet with some BLM leaders, nod his head a few times, then ignore them.

Cullors is overplaying her hand. Blue-dog Democrats, not fringe-idea progressives, won it for Biden. That’s why Biden was nominated over Bernie, Warren, and even Pete. But make no mistake – the right wing strategy has gone full Trump, and will make up lies about Biden and the influence of BLM, AOC, the Clintons – and apparently even the deceased Hugo Chavez.

Conservatism is on life support in America, and Trumpism is holding a pillow to its face.

Screw BLM and screw Biden (Harris) if they meet with them (although I suspect they will, virtue signaling race panderers that they are.)

Also, not all black people support BLM, so even if we were to believe Cullors when she claims "black people won this election", that doesn't mean jack sh*t as far as this pitiful attempt from BLM at legitimacy and a power grab. Besides, fraud "won" this election, not black people. Stupid b*tch.

The only place BLM belongs is on a domestic terrorist watch list.

Ha! Not for the first time I'm reminded of President Lyndon Johnson's famous prediction made in the 1960's to two 'Dixiecrat' Governors flying with him aboard Air Force One --

Blacks do not represent America, I hope that wasn't what he was alluding to. And people who need to put African in front of their national identity certainly do not represent America.

    So what?

As long as they vote 90% Democratic in places like PA, MI, WI, and GA--I really could not care less how they choose to "Self Identify".

The odd thing is that while American Negroes make up no more than about 14% of the U. S. population, when you read or watch anything constructed by the mainstream media -- as either news or entertainment -- you'd swear that they make up over a THIRD of the population. And, even far more than that if you concentrate your search in "sports".

Look at who is on 'entertainment' programs... look at whose faces you always see in nearly promotion or commercial you see on TV. Be aware of what the mainstream media chooses to 'show' you, in WHAT CONTEXT, and, what it does not....

Don't believe for one minute that ANY of that is done by 'accident'. On the contrary -- it's a carefully, rigorously-developed SCIENCE!

It's the same with any group that supports a POTUS. If their guy wins theybwant their pound of flesh whatever that flesh is. Sometimes the pound of flesh is SCOTUS judges and federal judges, or tax breaks for billionaires and higher up millionaires, or big pharma, or for the government to look the other way while big. Usiness ships American jobs to China, or let companies pollute, or relax safety regulations, or increase the minimum wage, or suppress wages, or no minimum wage........or have the tax payers pay for religious schools, or try to kill abortion laws, or legalized same sex marriage.

Everyone want rewards. .Problem is one man's reward is another man's idea of a crime.

Ideally it would consist of a photo-op in the Oval office, big talk that says little and promises less, then send them on their way. In reality how a Biden administration handles the next racially charged incident ( and there will be one) will determine how much influence BLM can extort.

I would recommend against the BLM meeting.

    Not even a photo-op.

All that would accomplish would be to alienate the Moderates that elected him.

And, who cares as if he pisses off BLM?

What are they gonna do? Vote for the other guy?

BLM is an organization designed to only care about...black people. Worse yet, they're a bunch of marxists, they're not worth answering their phone call much less a meeting. Disgusting a**holes.

First, Everybody knows that Black Lives Matter (All lives matter).

And, I do support the Ethical Concept that the slogan "Black Lives Matter" represents.
(Holding cops accountable, etc.). I 100% Agree with that.

That Said, the organized BLM Movement has (obviously) been hijacked by Anti-Biden Agitators.

And, I can't go along with that.

I have NEVER been a Fan of BLM "Leadership".

I feel that they are a Negative Drag on the Democratic Party.

That is why I recommend AGAINST Biden meeting them.

It will only serve to alienate the Swing State Moderates that Enabled Biden's Election.

Let BLM kick their heels all that they want.

It's getting beyond ridiculous. If space aliens can pick up our tv commercials they'd think earth is mostly filled with black people who live in nice homes, have nice cars, are the leaders in industry and have perfect kids who all own belts. i don't understand why the advertising world pushes this narrative when blacks are arguing day and night about how that's not the way oppression works. My company is also taking it too far. In all of our training classes (they're videos we have to watch) all the big shots are black and the people being coached or disciplined are white. Almost all of our videos lack any representation of white and Latino people, and you will never see a white male unless he's the guy getting hammered for screwing up. How the hell did we go from the Greatest Generation to the tail wagging the dog in less than 80 years?

Jim Clyburn and Stacey Abrams secured the black vote, not BLM. And last I checked, they weren't asking for a payday in return.
