Why doesn't Trump stop all the recount and lawsuit nonsense and simply say I'm not leaving. Surely every Republican in congress would support that decision with the possible exceptions of Collins and Romney.

Ask yourself what sane attorney would keep Trump as a client? He needs so much babysitting and you have to clean up his messes literally every day. It does not matter how much Trump can afford, if he finds reason not the pay the bill regardless, or worse threaten to sue his attorney if he does not get the victory!. I cannot even imagine the headache this 'client' must be.

None of your argument is making any sense.

Small counties in Georgia are almost all red. Only 29 of 159 counties were in the majority for Biden.

I sent to bed Tuesday night and figured Trump was going to win. I wake up Wednesday morning and Biden is suddenly winning. You tried to attribute that to the small counties quickly turning an election results. However, that makes no sense because the small counties voted primarily for Trump.

About Ten, got up around five thirty CDT. My browser had a had a display of the US showing red and blue states. You could click on one of the states and it showed the votes for Biden and Trump.

The precincts would have closed six my time. According to your scenario, between six and ten, small and large precincts call in their in person voting. There was a formidable Trump lead even more than I expected. Through the night the small counties report in with their mail in votes and suddenly Biden starts surging ahead with votes from the red counties. Then over the next few weeks, the mail in votes from the large counties trickle in and expand the lead further.

Biden got the mail ins from the cities.

You were trying to explain why I saw such a large increase in Biden votes during the night. It would have been those small red counties that got counted according to your explanation.

Maybe you have me confused with someone else.
But in case you forgot, Biden didn't take the lead until Friday the 6th.
So he didn't win when you went to bed on Tuesday night.

I don't have them all memorized. When I went to bed Tuesday night, Trump was leading by large margins in a number of battleground states. However, those margins started evaporating quickly by Wednesday morning and with the knowledge that it would be mostly mail votes after that point, I had little doubt that Trump was going to lose.

The problem I have is how suddenly all that started changing. A lot quicker than I thought possible counting mostly mail in votes. I have talked to a number of people about it since then and they had the same impression.

I have no illusions that I could not be wrong. I have my doubts and with the reputation of the Dominion machines, it is worth checking. I am a bit puzzled by the reluctance to check. I would have thought democrats would jump at the chance to prove Trump wrong. However, their attitude appears to be just the opposite. They claim they won and they don't want anyone to look any further. That attitude makes me even more suspicious.

 

The voting machines have been confirmed in the Georgia recount and the Maricopa, Arizona audit. So we quite frankly are done with that one.
How long did you think it should take to do the mail in votes. I thought it took forever.

 

I did too. That is why I was surprised by the rapid turn around Wednesday morning.
