Maybe so. What trump and his supporters are now doing is attacking the strength of American democracy by questioning the integrity of the process without any evidence. This is an assault on the legitimacy of the results. It is an attack against America.

 

In an alternate universe, Democrats could join their fellow Americans in a reasonable call for a rigorous investigation of this election followed by a bipartisan commission on how to shore up future elections so that we don't have to do this again in two or four years.

Why are you calling for a massive investigation into something that has never been a problem in the past, and in this election is better than ever?

By all means let’s find ways to make the next election even better, but don’t keep spreading the lie that there is anything fundamentally wrong with this one. Biden won in a landslide, by more than Trump won in 2016. And he won fair and square, no matter what trump says.

The winner has not be declared and won't be until the lawsuits are all settled.

 

It is in attack on American democracy to file frivolous lawsuits to challenge the legitimate result of the election.

The only reason trump is filing lawsuits after the most secure election in the nation’s history is to raise fake doubts about the legitimacy of the results. That is an attack on America.

 

The courts may agree with you. The judges will determine whether voting irregularities presented by Trump's lawyers constitute the need for remedies which may impact the outcome of one or more states. Or, judges will determine their is no evidence worthy of action.

Calm down. No one is attacking America. This will be settled in three weeks at most, probably less.

 

Anyone who supports this charade after the most secure election in the nation’s history is attacking America.

You never address that point. With the exception of 2000 (when the presidency came down to a few hundred votes and it was perfectly legitimate for both candidates to wait for the outcome) every losing presidential candidate in my lifetime has conceded as soon as it was obvious they had lost. That is important for the country and for the confidence in the legitimacy of the elections. It is part of the peaceful transfer of power.

By not conceding gracefully, Trump is NOT putting the interests of the country first. He is NOT putting America first. He is putting himself first. It’s awful and you’re supporting it.

 

Whether Trump wins or loses, exposing/investigating alleged election fraud IS putting America first. It's very good for Democracy to make absolutely certain that there is no election fraud. Not very good for Democrats of course.
