You post a "reply" to my own post with a deflection and you want me to ignore your reply??? Really? Maybe you should ignore mine if you have nothing to say about it.

Yes, I think "sorry" describes this whole thread quite aptly.

Swim in your ignorance. Doesn't bother me.

    Would someone please share
the impact of Jim Clyburn's speech.
What about it was so dynamic as to lend security
    to candidate Biden.

    Thank You

    Is the appointment of
    Linda Thomas Greenfield
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linda_Thomas-Greenfield
as Biden's Ambassador to the U.N.
part of Biden paying off political debts?

    Just asking -
Most of her career has been about African Affairs.
Someone more invested in Eurasian affairs would
have been a better choice. Y'think?

You thought I was serious. :disbelief:

My point is that all the conspiracy theories against Biden, the Ukraine nonsense and the China nonsense, are just as empty as many of the conspiracy theories about Hillary.

Either these people are such geniuses that they run circles around law enforcement, the DOJ, and any congressional committee, or there's just no evidence and they aren't guilty.

Add that to the many proven facts about Trump's blatant corruption, and maybe you can see the irony of Trump's supporters pointing fingers elsewhere at every turn, on the flimsy say-so of Trump himself or the far right wing pundits who help him make sh!t up.

There was nothing illegal about Hunter Biden's job. There was no influence peddling, no corruption of the office of VP. He may have gotten the job and the cushy paycheck because of his name, but that's as far as it went.

If it was such a horrible, corrupt, and illegal thing, why did no one say anything at the time? None of this was common knowledge until Joe Biden announced his candidacy in April of 2019, more than five years after Hunter had that job. All of this was simply Trump and company digging for something, anything, with which to dirty Joe's reputation.

    Highly immoral if not illegal.

We are not talking about Hunter as an experienced oil industry man.

Not immoral, just unethical. I think we can agree on that. But there is nothing to investigate, no charges to file, no indictment to hand down, or it would have happened years ago.

The timing is key here: no objections or accusations of illegal or corrupt activities came up until Joe announced his candidacy, at which time Trump was ignorant and stupid enough to think he could simply get a foreign government to manufacture a scandal out of it by threatening to withhold already approved and appropriated aid.
