Tulsi Gabbard was a presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, but after receiving a phenominal amount of attention at the first debate, it frightened the heads of the party, so they did everything they could to keep her from entering the debates again. What a pity. In her the Democrats would have had a real leader - but I guess that's not what they wanted.

“@real Donald Trump Since you’re giving pardons to people, please considering those who, at great personal sacrifice, exposed the deception and criminality of those in the deep state,” Gabbard wrote, addressing Trump directly via his Twitter handle.

Tulsi Gabbard was the only Democrat running who would have actually kept the country in the middle. I liked her better than Yang who sold himself to CNN.

Tulsi actually came to my wind blade plant back when she was running. It was cool to see her. Julian Castro came to and I never cared for him.

Tulsi is a great person. I completely disagree with her domestic policies in terms of taxes and her VERY left leaning economic policies, but everything else I enjoyed. She was THROWN under the bus by the Clinton campaign in 2016 and hasn't recovered since. It's not her fault, she just went against the DNC's demands.

If only she'd cut it out with gungrabbing, she'd be #1 on my list for first woman prez.

...I like to think she's just pandoring with the anti-gun stuff, but I'm not willing to risk it. AWB is a showstopper.

Let's not be close minded. Here's a thread I made years ago about Tulsi way before I jumped on the Trump train. I voted 3rd party in 2016 and can prove that too with another thread if you prefer.

    http://politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/tulsi-gabbard-dems-what-do-you-think.503379/

Tulsi is as fair as it gets for a politician in terms of foreign policy and focusing on OUR problems and not other nation's problems.

I just disagree heavily with her on economic and 2A policies but she's far more fair than the DNC lapdog (and idiot) China Joe.

Tulsi could have won against Trump the evening
of the election. I'm glad to know she is still
    there for :flagus:

She was a victim of the DNC and their media.

    Moi :oldman:
Yes to Snowden & Assange pardons!

    No Pardon for :flagcanada:

The DNC would rather have Trump than Tulsi but more independents would vote for her.

I switched parties just to vote for Tulsi in the primary. She is a breath of fresh air for US politics, and that's why the system crushed her. The good people can't stand the stench in the swamp.

She is still young and learning, but her heart and her head are in the right place. She is a brave patriot.

If Tulsi had made it as the DNC candidate, I would have likely voted that way, but as others have said, she didn't conform to pressure, so she was tossed out. There were several points I disagreed with, but the majority flowed at least close to what I see as beneficial for this country.

It is pretty much the picture of the duopoly, and why it has to end. Which is why it will be an uphill battle every step of the way, neither the R or the D want to give up the power in their clutches.

I think the right respects her far more than the left who fear her.

I may not agree with all her plans but she was sincere and in it for America.

As a staunch conservative it wouldn't bother me to have her in charge at all.

Dont worry why Republicans like her. Worry why Democrats dont. She actually speaks her mind, vs what she is told to think.

    he should.
A government that can't stand up to scrutiny is useless to a free society.

I liked her too, even though she ran as a Democrat and I also disagreed with her policies. But I also disagreed with Trump as well and never liked him as a person, most especially his stance on gun control. You don’t have to completely agree with a leader, just as long as they know how to lead.

    Interesting. I'm the opposite.

Go ahead and pardon Assange, but Snowden should be tracked down and brought to trial for his crimes.

In a couple of months my suggestion may start to look pretty good.....

If....... the next six months has as many indictments in both the GOP and the DNC as I suspect may happen........... then the logic of simply abandoning the DNC ship... will become obvious......

Should Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang begin a whole new party?

Here is an angle on increasing a woman's range of choice that you may not have considered before......

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...-income-dramatically-reduce-abortions.556917/

Would a Basic Minimum Income dramatically reduce abortions?

Our situation up here in Canada is a lot less complicated than it is in Washington.... but my understanding is that the USA is all set up to do something similar to what the Bank of Canada did from 1938 to 1974.

Exposing the illegal actions of government is never a crime, except in authoritarian states.

They like her because she isn't insanely to the far left.
    She's a combat veteran.
She's well spoken and has common sense.
If they had her as the nominee they could have definitely won without cheating because most repubs like and respect her (yes, we like some people from the other side, we don't hate ALL opposite party members just because our masters told us too like YOU GUYS ON THE LEFT DO

Well, if true, I'm glad she's around. Since Biden won without cheating, contrary to your unsupported by evidence false statement, I'm sure she will stand for candidacy in future elections.

Can I count on you and your people for donations to her campaign fund ? After all, you like some people from the other side.

I would probably pardon Assange. Snowden I would send a SEAL team after.
