Then why is the left insisting that Trump tell everyone to wear masks and social distance?

The problem with science is scientists. They each have their niche and try to apply that niche to the world in general. If the world does not listen, they claim the word is not listening to science. What the world in general is not listening to is their version of science.

 

What freedom is one trading wearing a mask while shopping for groceries?

What about people who place their personal freedoms above their responsibility to their country and fellow citizens, deliberately endangering the lives and health of others? What do they deserve?

 

By a large majority, it is. Sorry if the truth hurts.

And holding those who won't mask up and insist on endangering others in contempt does not mean that I don't feel the same contempt for protesters who also won't follow protocols. And not once have I ever excused anyone rioting or looting or destroying property ... or using any form of violence for any ideological cause.

 

Because those measures have been proven to be effective in slowing the spread. I can't put it more plainly than that.

 

That is precisely what I am talking about. Those measures have other consequences.

 

The virus is a question mark in so many ways, why does it kill some and ignore others? I think lockdowns are only postponing the inevitable, I think the pandemic will be over when the virus has infected everyone that is at risk. Vaccines are all well and good but have a shelf life and become ineffective. I just pray that whoever created this monster isn't working on something new.

 

How about a national give the lockdowns the finger. BLM and Antifa do whatever they please so why not? There's way more of us than those nut jobs. Go out where ever you live maskless and mass in groups with signs encouraging local businesses to open and let them know you will shower them with money. Turn off you kids remote classrooms and demand that the schools be open, tell your town or city that you are withholding your property taxes until they do. For everyone who hasn't stocked up it might be a good thing to do now and to invest in a generator. Turn your neighborhood into an autonomous zone. I think everyone should use social media to broadcast an interest in national resistance and lay out what you think might be useful to pass on. You Tube's a great medium for how to videos, for example, how to give'em the finger.

 

As long as you are willing to sign a refusal of hospital service agreement, then go for it. If you get sick, you can't be showing up at a hospital and demand
services for something you have invited into your body willingly. You game?
Can overworked and stressed doctors and nurses give you the finger?

 

I carry a mask with me. I only wear it where I absolutely have too like at work or indoor church, except if I’m indoors and I can’t socially distance like in a long check out line or a crowded grocery aisle I voluntarily put one on. I generally avoid stores that compel rather than recommend masks.
