Ridiculous control of free speech in England.
Soccer players are being suspended from games for allegedly "racist" internet posts made during their personal free time.

Edinson Cavani is facing an FA investigation and potential ban after being accused of using a racist term on social media.
The Football Association confirmed to Mirror Sport they are aware of the post, are looking into it and will now ask Cavani to explain the remark made on Instagram.
Cavani, 33, wrote “Gracias n******” in an exchange with a fan after scoring twice - including a dramatic late winner - in Manchester United ’s last gasp victory at Southampton.
The FA have a strict code on racism and under the latest guidelines Cavani could get a three game ban.
It is understood that Cavani believed he was using the term in a friendly way, it is a common phrase in South American and has been told now of the different interpretation in England.
He has since deleted the post.

But Luis Suarez used a similar term in the infamous bust-up with Patrice Evra which led to the former Liverpool striker getting an eight game ban.

Manchester City star Bernardo Silva got a one match ban for posting - and quickly deleting - a picture of a character used in a chocolate brand.
Dele Alli also got a one game ban for a so-called joke on social media about coronavirus.

Free speech applies to the government, not private companies or organizations.

It also does not mean you are free from the repercussions of your words.

its an investigation into how and what context latin countires use the word "negrito". bravo the brits for opening fresh dialogue into this subject. could be similar to how white bois in america use the N word thinking theyre hip all the while having negative thoughts. the "gaming culture" is plagued by such white kids and has had it fair share of scandals involving million view youtube nerds.

Maybe once all the black kids stop using the words the white kids won't think it's okay anymore. If you don't respect yourselves, why should others?

Their hatred is too deep rooted. That's why they won't let that word die. It's a constant reminder to each other to stay pissed off and stayed united against whiteness. That's all that is and until people like them, and you, realize that you will continue to have people who will see them as hypocritical or think it's okay to participate. Equality is equality, not "it's okay for us but not for you". If they don't want to live in an equal society, I know many people who would not be sad to see them go. They can n****** it up with some real Africans.

It's historically been a term of abuse from white people, so it should be easy enough to see why they find it offensive when white people use the word.

If they aren't offended when other black people use the word, that's their own damn business. I guess they feel that way because of the history of the word. Maybe it gives them a feeling of solidarity. But either way, it's up to them.

I've got friends who might greet me as "you old bastard". That doesn't mean I have to let everyone talk to me like that.

if you want to call it that then it begs the question why..why do black americans (or whatever BYWORD you want to call them) "hate" white americans? Personally idont think they do, they just deal with reality which happens to be YOUR (white ppl) wicked practice of enslaving them. This is and will always be the most evil episode in human history. You really dont even know the half of what your ppl did..trust me.

The word Negro is now being used by black scholars to trace the roots of white behaviour. Are you going to scorn them (black scholars) too, maybe to hide the truth??
