    Don't be stupid, Kruschev was better than Stalin but so was Hitler. He still locked up and murdered his political opponents and presided over an appalling tyranny. To compare that to (admittedly odious) no platforming at universities...?

    Just give me a link, I don't know what you're referring to? Yes I'm sure the SK are grateful, all they have to do is look across the border. The US tried to save SV from the same fate as the north, My Lai was the exception for the Allies but the rule for the VC, yeah, the Allies used Agent Orange and Napalm, so what?

    A very important factor in American Politics is a long held tradition of disregard for Human Rights.

    I'm not a big fan of Trump, especially since he pardonned the blackwater morons that deserved to rot in prison. I however saw his refusal of free trade as beneficial for the poorest people, as free trade is just a way to slaughter in an economic manner the poorest class.

    However, that's an extremely short sighted view of History, both Bush Jr and Obama have caused much, much more harm than Trump. The mess Bush Jr started in Iraq is the worst humanitarian disaster of that century for now, and Obama largely participated in the mess in Lybia (with Sarkozy as an accomplice) and in Syria (with the whole western block as an accomplice). Those three wars are total disasters. We could also mention Yemen, in which Obama had his influence.

    Trump was a very big mouth, and quite stressful with North Korea. The situation is quite tensed with Iran, however he did no disasters as Obama or Bush Jr.

    I would prefer Russia. Very far to be good, but I know I won't be bothered if I cook a Korean meal by some nuts, and there is no far left angry mob as in USA. If I want to start a shop, it won't be trashed by an angry mob either. Furthermore, if you marry and divorce, you won't own an eternity of alimonies to your wife as far as I know in Russia, not being stuck with a perpetual alimony is quite a good freedom.
    Russia is far to be a democracy, but it's much more stable, and you would be less threatened by an angry mob.

    Nevertheless, USA did target civilians on massive scale. During Korean War, about 1.5 million civilians were killed by US firepower.

    You are actually correct....... near death experiencer Dr. Kevin Zadai was shown that when China goes over being fifty one percent Christian a flip will be ready to happen there!

    I do believe though that what happens here in Canada and the USA has an effect on how quickly the Bamboo Curtain can be brought down.
