    If saying Merry Christmas is racist hate speech, then so is say happy kwanzaa. Only hypocrites would disagree.

    I'm looking at this story and thinking that Kamalla is pandering to a black base by saying that celebrating Kwanzaa was some kinda multi-generational thing when it started after she was born. I'm thinking she lied about something as a result and that she lied without any need to - it's not as if there were hordes of reporters from BET screaming for Kwanzaa pix from Kamalla. I mean, for all we know she celebrates some pagan deity and engages in cannibalism every December. Okay, we know she's down with eating certain kinds of male flesh if it gets her a promotion - but I digress.

    This is kinda like Hilla and her Bosnian Snipers story - she lied even when there wasn't any reason to lie and it was proven a lie minutes after she made the claim. She celebrated Christmas as a kid and the photos are out there and they too didn't take long to find. I mean, do people not realize that these such a thing as a search function? I don't know what she had to gain by telling this story and now she's shot herself in the foot because she got caught - and all of this was completely unnecessary.

    By the way, while Trump isn't Jewish - I'm not even sure if he's Christian - Jared, his son-in-law, is. I think he has other Jewish in-laws but don't hold me to that. And @Moonglow, just looked it up and that is true but what she has there is a Kinara which is used for Kwanzaa - and that was definitely culturally appropriated from the Jews.

    Is the problem that you are basing your view of liberals based on what you read on the internet? I have a lot a liberal friends and work in a liberal tech environment. I wished everyone a Merry Christmas or happy holidays. We have secret Santa for our department at work. I blasted out a jabber message wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays on my last day of work this week. No one complained to me about being politically incorrect. Pretty much everyone wished me the same. Are your real life experiences really that different?

    I find that most people who based their views on liberals or conservatives based on what they read about on the internet sadly mistaken when they meet them in RL. Most people are shocked that I hold very conservative views on fiscal policies and immigration yet the majority of my friends lean liberal in their views.

    Since no one in this thread is calling out the hypocrisy of Harris, then it's safe to say every liberal in this thread feels that way. They'd rather ignore her hypocrisy and attack me instead.

    I agree. Kwanza is the Wakandan version of Christmas.

    Wakanda being a fictional place, it backs up my claim of Wakanda being a fake holiday.

    In fact, had Jill Biden's dissertation been about how Kwanza is a fake holiday, as fake as Wakanda, I'd be more inclined to call her a doctor.
