    Delta Force is one reason. The fact it’s one of the biggest in the world is another. 82nd Airborne is another. One and three are plenty to call it “one of the more prestigious ones.”

    Oh, I don't think she "caved", I think the Democrats had been pushing for higher checks to the American People. But overall, that relief bill is crap and full of pork. The 600 dollars was just a slap in the face to working Americans who are suffering during this pandemic, something they thought high enough for people to swallow and not piss and moan too much over the rest of the pork spending in the bill.

    Democrats played this beautifully. If Senate Republicans pass it, Dems get the direct checks they always wanted. If Republicans vote against it, they are labeled the bad guys and lose the support of Trump's base.

    Trump has publicly said he has secured enough Republican votes for this to pass. That's why he passed the stimulus package.

    He already knew this was a done deal.

    While I recognize that as a whole this is not a laughing matter by any means for the country and my fellow Americans, politically speaking this week is hilarious.

    Trump has basically turned on the Republicans. I'm assuming he's doing this because a lot of the big name Republicans are not supporting his fraud fantasies.

    So now this week, Trump has set up the Republican controlled Senate to be the deciding factor in two major policy decisions that will require them to either stand with Trump or go against him. No Democratic cover here. The Senate will need to decide on overriding Trump's NDAA(I suspect they will) and authorizing Trump's requested $2,000 stimulus checks(I suspect they won't). Senate Republicans will now need to go on record as being a Trump-Rump licker and go against their principles or stick with their principles and risk the ire of the Trumpers. The Trumpers will turn on you in an instant, just like they have to others in the past who broke from Trump.
