You guys come up with the weird stuff.

The only thing the house and senate Republicans care about is how their position on Trump relates to their ability to be reelected. A president has no authority to cause them to lose their position, whatever that means.

This claim that Trump is or was trying to become a dictator is pure idiocy. The reason people voted for him was because he was going to break up the corrupt political establishment which is trying to create an aristocracy in America. You want that old establishment to be back in charge and now you're getting it.

So let me get this straight - you hired a monied, aristocrat TV personality to "break up" the aristocracy and you're surprised it didn't work?
    Bless your heart.

If and when Trump gets impeached, The staunch supporters of Trump will lose as well. Trump has told 25,000 lies and possibly more while he was President.

Democrats are desperate to create a system of one party rule. They can't handle the idea of dissent and opposition. This is because they know that their ideas can't stand up to scrutiny.

As soon as someone makes any progress in reversing liberal policies, that person must be destroyed for life.

Do you have any idea what Trump could do? The attack on Capitol Hill was a surprise. Trump is nothing more than a child that wants his way.

Ultimately the entire nation will lose. Once Democrats eliminate the concept of a representative republic, they will turn on those who enabled them by supporting their plans.

There was no "progress". Trump hired a bunch of ex-lobby and industrial millionaires in a pretend action
to clean up ex-lobby, and industrial billionaires. Trump facilitated an oligarchy to continue to gain power.
Trump tried to make a "one party" rule by taking both branches of Congress, and appointing hundreds of
Judges and three Justices. And the voters decided such ideas were wrong-headed and voted him and his Congress out
    of power.

Do you think Trump will get off? Do you remember the majority of voters voted Biden over Trump? The Majority rules and if the entire nation would lose, who wins?

Trump abused his power and that's all there is to it.

If President Donald Trump (soon to be former) was in his right mind, There would not be a riot in Capitol Hill. I considered it uncalled for.:chainsaw:
    This just in:

    upload_2021-1-13_13-56-40.png
One week after a mob spurred by his rhetoric stormed the Capitol in a violent attempt to overturn the presidential election results, President Trump on Wednesday issued a statement calling on Americans to “ease tensions and calm tempers.

I don't know whether to believe this or not.

There was no abuse of power. There has been an effort on the left to remove Trump from the presidency from the very minute it became obvious that was would win the 2016 election. In fact that effort started before the election in the event he won. They've tried every political trick imsginable to get it done. The more they fail, the more desperate they become.

Now they are frantic and hysterical because of the possibility of him running again in 2024 or even maybe a house seat in 2022. Their secondary mission is to simply destoy his life and that of his family.

The question is how long do the Republicans want to wear the Trump albatross around their necks?

The Dems are all using the word "insurrection". There was no insurrection. There was an act of civil disobedience. Last year there were many acts of civil disobedience which destroyed privately owned businesses, private homes and entire neighborhoods of several major American cities.

Democrats, to include our Vice President Elect encouraged this violence and civil disobedience. Now that this form of protest was brought to their door, they are suddenly outraged.

The House votes on impeaching Trump for a second time. Watch and follow live.

    Good, very good. ..

    10 republicans voted to impeach.

It seems that many are just too afraid to go against Trump because they fear his vendetta......... and potential threats and violence from his cult.

That's is how Trump got such control over them.

This is very bad. and very MAFIA style. (the one way loyalty should be the first clue ;-)

I wouldn't say we are desperate for one party rule, but sadly it might be necessary until a second party emerges ready to share in governing this great land. The excellent book the Impostors tells us that Republicans quit on governing quite a while ago. They are a vague ideology without any concrete policies. This election they were too lazy to create a party platform. Oh whatever Donald feels like doing, that's what we stand for.

I am very much pleased that Trump got impeached a second time. Trump got what he deserved and it was right. It's true that Trump abused his power as President. When the house tried to impeach Richard Nixon, He resigned and it was the right thing. I just hope there will be no more violence from those Trump followers.

Where do you see no abuse of Power? Trump did do abuse and that is a fact. He's lied to you, He's lied to me, He's lied to everyone and that is a fact. He used Twitter to spread fake news and lies. He is an out-and-out liar and we all know it.

I think it was the right decision for what has taken place.

    Behavior has consequences.

but I am concerned that there will be more violent acting out from the Trump supporters..... particularity around the inauguration. Trump is not finished gas-lighting .

Wonder who will be pardoned, in his coming batch of pardons.
