Sweden has been erroneously referenced contentiously by COVID deniers almost since the onset of the pandemic.

Well teachers across America are being forced into 'here's why you're a white racist' training programs so I guess, if you're cool with that, then might as well force them to absorb misleading extremist blog ramblings as well. /s

Rockwell and other alternative media sources publish the antidote to the poison propaganda of the mainstream media. It offends you somehow. For those in The Church, it's heresy.

    Ah! The Swedish myth ...

Sweden is at 8th place among the most infected countries around the world [about the relation between cases and starting population].

It's more infected than UK, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy ...
But this wouldn't be so terrible: the real comparison is with the other Scandinavian countries [Scandinavia knows low density of population and persons not so social]. Norway is 5 times less infected than Sweden and Finland is 7 times less infected than Sweden.

About deaths, mortality in Sweden is normal: around 2%. 10,323 casualties on 523,486 cases.
But, just to say, Norway, with 58,317 cases, records 517 casualties ... about 1% ... so Sweden is recording two times the mortality of an other Scandinavian country ...

but not outrageous despite being open

moral of story= lockdowns only hurt people and the economy

I know that it kills the narrative of masking up, keeping apart and locking down, but you cannot deny reality

Nope. Lockdowns damage economy, not people. And there are form of sustainable lockdowns which damage also economy just a little.

This conflict between economy and pandemic control is totally invented.
Retired persons travel [wonder who is the typical customer on an ocean liner ...] and they spend money in the sector of services [bar, restaurants, theaters, museums, cinemas ...].
Ok ... but if Covid-19 kill them all, their money will circulate no more.

At the end the tough lockdown we run in Italy has reduced the national GDP, but the reduction is inferior to the 9%.
It's not an enormous cost, considering that we have probably saved 80,000 Italians [comparing the Italian diffusion rate with the American diffusion rate].

There are many, especially in Europe, pointing out the harms caused by individuals by the lockdown. From ignoring other health issues to suicide and depression, lockdown harms humans.

Humans are social animals, like it or not.

    Your first sentence is untrue.

You're entitled to have your opinion. You're welcome and thanks for your comment.

About suicide and depression, Italy seems to be almost immune ... Japan is suffering. In Japan suicides have increased during the lockdown.
    https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2021/01/22/national/japan-suicide-rate/

There are societies which are more ready to face such a problem ... other societies are not so ready [because of cultural reasons, overall].

IMO any government policy based upon bad science and superstition that causes depression and suicide and other bad effects is a very poor, an illegitimate policy.

Not to mention that in Sweden they don't need lockdowns to have problems about suicides ...
    https://www.thelocal.se/20181126/suicides-increasing-amongst-swedish-youth

And it seems that the psychological effect of Covid-19 in Sweden [despite there are no lockdowns there] is the same we are recording in other countries ...
