A Farewell Message from First Lady Melania Trump

She was invited to the WH when Michelle was the outgoing First Lady so she knew the protocols. She has made it abundantly clear that she is just like her husband - self-centered.

 

Well, since Trump pulled a significantly larger portion of blacks and Hispanics in 2020 than in 2016, the Left State Media Complex is twisting itself into a pretzel to redefine "race".

Race is no longer a matter of skin color or ethnicity; it is a "political color" and "multiracial whiteness". LOL

That's understandable but I'm assuming you aren't constantly being photographed and in the news. Like it or not, the First Lady is a public figure whose presence has a definite impact on the society in which she lives. As with DJT, her words and actions matter because they shape the tone of whatever message they are trying to convey and her message was quite clear.

Yes, I am aware of "the left" and "the right" extremes and some partisan mudslinging can be amusing and fun once in while. Done all the time in every post, and it becomes a reflection of character.

His ancestors got here, from Ireland, shortly before the Civil War. How do you suppose they were able to afford slaves? Irish immigrants aren't exactly remembered for their wealth.

Putting aside the bashing, just on a historical level, I would have to say that Melania was one of the least impactful
First Ladies of the modern Presidents. She wasn't the force that Nancy Reagan was, she surely won't be the Icon that
Jackie Kennedy was, She won't have the impact of a Barbra Bush and the chances of her long term staying power of
Michelle Obama are about zero. Hillary was Hillary. Melania doesn't seem to have any ambition for public service down the road, like the Carters have
done with Habitat for Humanity, or the Obama's arts projects.

We'll see if she is able to climb out from Trump's shadow and become something more ... it will probably mean
she has to cut herself loose from him. I wouldn't be surprised to hear the Trump's have separate addresses within a
year. I'm really not expecting much of her, but there's always a chance.

 

A fun fact about partisans. When someone from their team misspeaks, it's an oops, or it was taken out of context, or he didn't really mean that. When someone from team other misspeaks, they 100% meant that, and we will bludgeon them with it for all eternity.
