No...Biden's Presidency was confirmed by the joint session of Congress, on January 6th, presided over by Vice President Pence. His inauguration simply confirms the fact.

When I’m wrong about something, I admit it. It’s really not as bad as you think.

    Oh well.:bored:

    It ISN'T Your Inauguration.

When you get elected President, you can do it your way.

Hmmm...I suppose there were a few called upon to fight in the American Revolution (on our side) and in WW II who didn't answer the call because of "bone spurs."
They must still be bothering him. Notice he always uses a golf cart on the golf course and failed to keep his word about marching with his supporters on the Capitol.
Sadly, Trump never understood one of our most important political principles, that in our system of governance, the President is the servant of the people and not vice versa. The first Republican President understood that our government is of the people, by the people and for the people.

I agree with you that the President and members of Congress are our employees, not royalty. It’s a shame they don’t know that.

They would know that, if we stopped re-electing them.

92% of Congress creatures won re-election in November. That's pathetic.

Why change what you are doing when your boss keeps giving you praise like that?

Trump typified the "royalty persona." He never attempted to expand his base and relied on electoral college victories that gave him the Presidency in 2016 to give himself another victory in 2020. He failed and lost by same electoral vote Clinton loss by in 2016, while increasing his popular vote loss from 3 million in 2016 to 7 million in 2020.

    You're not the only one.

And what could be a more auspicious beginning to a presidency than a monumental display of cowardice for the whole world to see?

OMFG LOOK OUT!!! HERE COMES THE INSURRECTION!!!

Yeah...he was. All 50 State Governors, including some 27 Republican Governors, certified the electoral vote in their States and the joint session of Congress, presided over by Vice President Pence. McConnell just said, in his final speech to the Senate, as Majority Leader, that Trump had provoked the attack on the Capitol.

I have trouble wading through your post. Stepping back, Texas, et al filed suit claiming they -- the state and its electorate -- were damaged and disenfranchised by the fraud and illegal election processes in other states. They filed their suit with SCOTUS because SCOTUS has original jurisdiction. It was Texas' only recourse; it had nothing to do with states rights per se. SCOTUS didn't want to play and came up with lack of standing as a handy rationale

Illinois has no right to worry about how Alabama conducts its' elections.

    Period. End of story.

In a political system that respects individual state sovereignty, the individual states make their own election laws and enforce them...not other states. Texas, et al had no standing at SCOTUS. Should have picked a border dispute...not an election. Maybe you should look at Alan Dershowitz's disapproval of Bush v. Gore, who SCOTUS overruled the Florida Supreme Court (unconstitutionally according to Dershowitz).

But of course they do. If a state fraudulently appoints electors that can do nothing except water down and disenfranchise the electors voting from another state.

    Nancy P also typifies it.

“Look at my designer ice cream, and open up that beauty parlor for me.”

Interesting. I might agree. See if you can get that into the Constitution before the NEXT election.

Yeah...it's hard to find high ranking politicians who don't take advantage of their position, but IMO there is no comparison between Trump and Pelosi.
