Biden says good-bye to Delaware and Harris says good-bye to California. And Trump will say hello to Florida in the Mar-a-logo place where some of the neighbors want to un-welcome him there.:lol::roflol:

Biden Cannot Legally Get Us Back Into the Paris Climate Accords; Here’s Why.

Even outside the Accords, the United States leads the world in reducing carbon emissions. The point of getting the US back in has nothing to do with the climate and everything to giving away US cash throughout the world.

The United States was never legally a part of the Paris climate accords. The United Nations describes it as “a legally binding international treaty on climate change,” and it also meets the definition of a treaty under the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, which states that a is “an international agreement concluded between [two or more] States in written form and governed by international law.”

The Treaty Clause of the United States Constitution:

The president “shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur.”

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2.

Obama unilaterally signed the United States into the treaty in the final months of his presidency. Obama, who fancied himself a constitutional scholar, never even attempted to go to the Senate for ratification. Instead, he avoided referring to the agreement as a treaty publicly, in order to argue that Senate ratification wasn’t constitutionally mandated.

Do you think Biden can beat Trump's 150,000 in may 2019.
Shame that wall doesn't work. But at least Mexico - what?! Mexico didn't pay for it?

President Obama was able to formally enter the United States into the agreement under international law through executive authority, since it imposed no new legal obligations on the country. The United States has a number of tools already on the books, under laws already passed by Congress, to cut carbon pollution. The country formally joined the agreement in September 2016 after submitting its proposal for participation. The Paris Agreement could not take effect until at least 55 nations representing at least 55 percent of global emissions had formally joined. This happened on October 5, 2016, and the agreement went into force 30 days later on November 4, 2016.

Two problems with that. One, I’ve been in a lot of Federal buildings and never seen a Congress person there. Two, I haven’t seen any evidence Congresspersons are driving the pandemic either.

Anyway, if Congress is concerned about the Covid they should be using Zoom from home. :) And don’t give me any nonsense about it being unconstitutional. LOL

I was thinking of Trump's Bois and their riot.
Small rooms, lots of yelling and screaming.
Seems to be a likely candidate.

Could try a mask mandate I guess. People willing to be arrested for violent unlawful entry, disorderly conduct, and theft of federal property wouldn’t dare violate a mask mandate. :)

We've been through hell in these last four years and It ends on Wednesday August 20, 2021 when we get a new President.

Trump spent his last day as President pardoning people including that Steve Bannon that faced criminal charges and jail time and Trump might face. You have to wonder how many won't face jail time becasue of Trump.

Mayorkas: No, we’re not defunding ICE — and it might need more resources

    Disappointment.

The mantra from the Left over the Trump era was to defund ICE first and other law enforcement.

Mayorkas operated as the kind of political fixer and got caught at it.
His career as a political fixer didn’t start as USCIS. Mayorkas was one of the players in the sleazy Bill Clinton pardons in 2001, along with fellow Cabinet appointee Xavier Becerra.

That process against that US spy had to be started MONTHS ago when Donald was flying his bombers at the border of Iran, provoking the hell of Iran.
Iran who the US is spying on at all the time. It's just dumb of the guy that he showed up and spied for the US. So he should feel the wrath of it too.

The Senate confirmed President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the U.S. intelligence agencies, just hours after the new commander-in-chief took office.
