    The cancel culture folks seem to be racing to outdo each other.

    For decades we've had schools and monuments named after Washington and Lincoln, heck, many blacks have those names, so why cancel them now?

    it's amazing how adults who are self described as highly educated and among the intellectually elite can fall victim to the latest whims and fads. These are the people who wear Che shirts and Cuban lapel pins.

    Can someone tell me when they're going remove the name of a homophobic abuser of women from our schools, streets, statues, parks and monuments, or do gays and women no longer count since the arrival of blm?

    You know, when people started to tear down statues and demand name changes the question was asked "what's next? George Washington? Thomas Jefferson?" Those questions were dismissed as a "slippery slope fallacy" and anyone that continued to ask the question was laughed at and ridiculed. So much for it being a fallacy huh?

    I support this movement 100% since SF no longer resembles the vision of our founding fathers. Some more appropriate school names would be:

    Homeless High
    Fecal Matter Middle School
    Participation Trophy Elementary
