It seems that not enough of the real Constitutional Liberal Democrats ended up teaching at our Universities. But, in a shrieking den of voices speaking nonsense, folks speaking reason and wisdom draw folks, so, a self-correction wouldn't surprise me, but, we do need our State Legislatures to become increasingly more assertive. The challenge is the flood of Federal money flowing to the States with "handles on it" that require conformity.

I don't know what drives McConnell and Graham, but, clearly they have been going along with way too much of this.

Watching how some of these Blue States have managed the increased authority that COVID gave them, gives you a great view into where they would lead the nation, if they could get the power. Take Cuomo, he's a vicious and rather stupid thug with some splinter skills in public speaking. Gavin Newsom, the same, though Gavin Newsom is connected to the Deep Money family, The Getty's, that have been the financial force behind the last 4 Democrat Governors, and the firing of Gov Gray Davis is clearly impacting Newsom. The closer his recall petition comes to making the ballot, the harder he tries to figure out what will keep him in office.

 

Certainly he did not see his job as getting Trump re-elected, but, the following has me a little more hopeful that he might really be digging into this.
