UE was lower when obama left office. UE was higher when trump left office. The economy performed better under Obama than under trump. That is in no way debatable. I gave you the numbers showing that.

If you are going to claim that the virus should have had no effect, then there is no point in discussing it further. That is an absurd comparison.

AP: Biden already bailing on the “fight for $15”?

Politico reports that Fight for $15 lacked the necessary level of Democrat support.
The lack of support within the Democrat caucus became clear during the vote-a-rama in Thursday’s overnight session where a measure to forbid increasing the minimum wage during the pandemic passed on a voice vote and even Bernie Sanders didn't fight it.

Seems like they folded very quickly. Low end wages had been climbing under Trump, just crashed under Biden:

You realize that your graph shows the decline while The Orange One was still President, right?

And the trump/Q true-believers are off to a crackpot start with ridiculous claims.

Do you think trump is a time traveler too? Do you think Cheese Pizza is code for Child Porn?

Yup. Trump's also smart enough to find this amusing. We'll miss his steady hand on the economy, but, he did show us what could be done, and how easy it was to do it. A few smart moves, putting America First and all of sudden jobs everywhere along with much fatter checks for the Working and Middle Class, lowest wages rising the fastest for a change. The 2022 midterms will be here in a jiffy, and we'll be heard.

You're likely right. All these Leftists here don't realize what they are supporting, or they are actual fascists. They don't see the Authoritarian control that will consume their lives should the Globalists get their way.

Deny it? Here's what I will do for you, I will qualify it, and remove the hype.

Trump and his followers hype it, but remove the hype, it's not that impressive, especially if you look at the numbers correctly, which is to say, in terms of fiscal years. Thing is, A president's fiscal policies cannot take effect until his fiscal year begins, which is October 1st, so you measure them from October 1 to Sept 30 of the following year, no matter who is president during that year.

So, adjusting for fiscal years, before Covid, as we can see, Trump's GDP isn't that impressive. his stat is just the logical extension of the modestly upward slope he inherited from Obama. If you compare Obama to his predecessor, you can see he turned the ship of state completely around from hemorrhaging to growth, out side of one year, he reversed the country from sinking, moving into the positive range in about one year. That was the real feat, what Trump did could be likened to someone giving you the keys to a nice running car, you get in, drive it away, and don't wreck. Well, then came Covid, and equate that with a rocky course ahead, and he crashed the car.

BIDENOMIC: Commodities Are Soaring 25%: That's Consistent With Headline Inflation Of Almost 4%

The year-over-year rise in a basket of commodity prices is now a bit above 25%. This is a problem because in the past 20 years, that’s been consistent with headline inflation of just under 4%.

Oil up 43% since election. We sure had great gasoline prices while Trump was President!

Will Bidenomics be even words that Obamanomics? Will Carter Style Stagflation be the anchor around our necks until we can dump Biden in 2024?

That is Tramp's last jobs report, not Biden's first.

When Obama left office there were 152,150,000 employed, when Tramp ,left office there were only 150,031,000 employed, a LOSS of over 2.1 MILLION jobs.

When Obama left office there were only 7,466,000 unemployed, but when Tramp left office he jacked it up to10,130,000 unemployed.

Kind of funny coming from someone who thinks that someone has to be brainwashed to see what a horrible creature the Trump is.

Kind of a waste of time discussing these things, is it not. After all, the Trump lives in a fantasy so real world numbers do not have real meaning. Not really. Not when belief beats out reality. Fact of the matter is, the employment rate when the Trump took office was exactly the same as it was when Obama left office. It was much lower when the Trump finally left.

This gets to be a pattern, does it not. Bill Clinton turned the economy around. He even reduced the deficit so much that the Federal government was seeing a surplus, putting us on track to pay off the National Debt. At the end of his presidency, the economy was booming.
Lil’ Bush decided that if we added just enough debt to give all the millionaires and billionaires massive tax cuts, then the all the country would be better. At the end of lil’ Bush’s presidency, the US was losing jobs, as the economy was crashing. Then Obama came to office and things got better and were on the rise when the Trump came to power. Likewise, not the Trump, because it is a moron, but the Republicans decided that the country would be much better off if we gave millionaires and billionaires massive tax cuts, massively increasing the deficit and debt to do so. At the end of the Trump’s presidency we had a falling job market and a crashing economy. It is now up to Biden to clean up the mess the Trump and the Republicans have left behind. Sometimes I get the idea that conservatives want the country to falter and fail. To crash and burn. It is as if y’all hate the country as much as you hate liberals.

I’m just baffled. At times horrifically so; at the fact that there is such enthusiastic support for the worse president that we have ever had. I’m sure the propaganda plays into it. And those not knowing all that much, from which to adequately judge. How is it that half the country is convinced that the Trump has created the greatest economy ever, when ever since the tax cuts, the economy has been mostly stagnant, most of the growth due to the natural growth cycle due to an ever increasing population and inflation. The major feature of the Trump economy has been to give massive tax cuts, mostly for the wealthiest, and then to massively increase the debt. How is that sound fiscal policy?

For the last three months of its presidency, all the Trump did was cry and complain about how it was unfair that it lost the election. Boo hoo like a baby. An immature spoiled s&$# hole. It showed the shallowness, and the insanity that has always been evident.

Its impeachment defense seems to be shaping up to be, I didn’t incite an insurrection because I am insane, let me prove it to you. It is why its lawyers all quit. Why all its current lawyers are kooks.

The Trump was going to lose, with or without the virus. The numbers just weren’t there for it to win. You and your fellow conservatives may have chosen to stick your heads in the sand over the fact that the Trump consorted with Russians and tried to extort the Ukrainian president, that it horribly strained the relations with our closest allies while snuggling up to dictators, that it pulled us out if treaties that it should not have, that it has tried to kill environmental protections by squeezing out the agencies so charged. That it has tried repeatedly to remove the healthcare protections from tens of millions of Americans. That it expresses racial and religious bigotries, and lies with almost every breath. You may have chosen to deny, but many more millions of Americans have not.

Part of the Democratic surge in 2018 was from candidates running with the promise of impeaching the creature. At the the end of its impeachment trial, Republican Senators told us, it you want it gone, you will have to do it at the ballot box. The Trump knows it was going to lose. That is why it did everything in its power to disrupt the vote. Further putting on display, its unfitness for the office.

The virus was just the icing on the cake, putting on display in a most dramatic fashion, the utter ineptitude of the Trump, the worse president that we have ever had. Good riddance.
