I watched about 10 minutes of it yesterday. That was enough to know I had just wasted about 10 minutes out of my life. But if you want to waste your time watching a fiction film of which you already know the final outcome, go right ahead.

I haven't seen all of it but from what I did see was pretty compelling. In particular about how much time passed that Trump did nothing while watching the insurrection on tv.

 

Fiction films are often compelling. I watch them once in a while myself, but I always distinguish what is fiction from what is real. As for the waste of time, all of it is a waste of time because the outcome is already known, and they're impeaching someone who is longer president.

It's a fool's folly to put any credence whatsoever into this charade.

Constitutionally, if he isn't president anymore, he isn't impeachable anymore. Neither is Leahy qualified to act as Chief Justice.

Trump is no longer President so the Chief Justice arguement doesn't apply.

While claimimg an x President not being able to have an impeachment trial after being impeached while in office is a weak arguement; the proper way to move forward would be to go as if their is no doubt about the legality of the impeachment trial and if Trump is found guilty then he or his Senate allies can take it to the supreme court and they can decide. Legislators do not interpret laws, the courts do.

This however, does not answer my question. What 10 minute part did you watch that you think was fiction?

 

Trump was impeached when he was president. He's not president anymore, so you can't impeach him again unless he becomes president again. If the Chief Justice argument doesn't apply, then neither does your impeachment argument apply. That's what happens when you engage in fake impeachments; nothing applies. It's all just one big charade.
