W.H. suspends deputy press secretary for one week for threatening reporter over story about him

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday that one of her deputies, TJ Ducklo, had been suspended for one week without pay after a Vanity Fair story revealed Ducklo had threatened a reporter who was working on a story about his romantic relationship with another reporter.
"This in our view was an important step to send the message that we don't find this acceptable," Psaki told reporters at the White House press briefing.
Psaki said her deputy, TJ Ducklo, had apologized to the reporter, Politico's Tara Palmeri, over the incident. She added that when he returns from suspension he will no longer work with any reporters at Politico.

I DON'T think that he should be allowed to return "after suspension".

I think he should be terminated from his role in the White House.

 

Good to see adults in charge of the WH again. If this was someone on Trump's admin, Ducklo would have receive a promotion and a Presidential medal from the big orange turd himself.

 

Let me guess, Duckman is a straight white guy.

 

I didn't think so initially, but I now agree that he should be fired. Maybe they are teeing this up so that Biden can fire him before he returns from suspension.

ETA: Supposedly he is fighting stage 4 lung cancer that was discovered a year ago, so maybe that would be reason to go easy or perhaps excuse things that could have been affected by chemo and drugs.

 

I'm definitely going to pick up a National Enquirer next time I go out. They cover this stuff better than anybody.

The 'adults' in the WH only reacted after the story went public, they kept the story secret for a month and when it leaked out they had to at least act like they cared.
