    No. He is still impeached. Just the 3rd president in HISTORY to be impeached. And the ONLY one impeaced 2X.

    And this was the MOST bipartisan impeachment in the History of the USA.
    All impeached have been acquitted. All of them.

    Nah, he is still the only president in history to be impeached. That will be forever.
    No impeached president has been convicted by the Senate, ever.

    But now this is recorded for all of history.

    AH! Thank you, foxhastings. You raise an interesting new area for consideration -- Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

    But don't worry too much, really. Even if Biden pisses Xi Jinping off so much that China leaks out all the information on the Biden Family 'business' there, it's not likely that any Republican would press for impeachment. Why not?

    Because if Biden were impeached and removed, then something even WORSE would step into the Oval Office....

    In less than two years from today, we'll see what the American voter thinks of "Obama 2.0" as articulated by Joe Biden. And if Joey screws around and loses the House, 'neo-socialism' in this country goes back to being a radical Democrat's 'wet dream'.... :lonely:

    Meanwhile, unless Biden makes the really ENORMOUS mistake of trying to 'pack the court' (like Frankie Roosevelt tried to do), Democrats can't just have everything they like approved by the Supreme Court anymore. :w00t:

    Uh, what's your point...? He sure as hell was NOT POTUS when his 'trial' was presented to Senate....

    What I'm saying is that Trump's been ACQUITTED in the Senate every time the Democrats have tried to pull this crap. And, NOW, the precedent has been established that we can impeach ex-presidents, too! Or do you disagree?!

    Think of the possibilities -- Democrats can impeach all of the Founding Fathers of this country for being slave owners, and we on the Right can impeach all the scumbag, hyperliberal Leftist Democrats (plus A. Lincoln) who have gotten us into war after war for no compelling reason, jeopardized our economy, and threatened to destroy our Constitution! The fun never ends!

    And while we're having our fascinating 'cage-match', the Russians and Chinese can swoop in virtually undetected and kick our asses completely out of the entire Eastern Hemisphere! Won't THAT be entertaining...?! :smile:

    I predict that the Democrats will push for a criminal trial. McConnell is said to have hinted at that prospect. TDS is still alive and I don’t think the Democrats will not be satisfied until they can piss on Trump’s grave. Although the fools don’t realize that DJT is not the only Trump that can run for the POTUS.

    No, what they need to do is have some actual precedent for impeachment. Impeachment has become an absolute joke nowadays and is used primarily as a means to disrupt the current Administration by the opposing party. Impeachment was never intended to be used as a "I don't like you" weapon of Congress. That's not a proper use of the system of checks and balances but that's how it has been used lately. Plus even the media was having a hard time trying to play defense for Democrats in the face of the raw audio and video that was presented by Trump's defense team. There was simply no way for Republicans to vote to convict Trump while pretending that Democrat elected officials weren't caught on raw video actively doing the exact same thing if not worse.

    Now hopefully the nation can focus on the Biden Administration now and see what they are all about. This impeachment was pretty much the last "Trump thing" folks needed to focus on that required any sort of mainstream coverage. Now I'm eager to see what excuses the media uses to keep Trump's name in their mouths on an hourly basis going forward because they need those ratings and the general public has pretty much zero interest in the Biden Administration.

    I am NOT surprised at all that the scummy democrat senators whose own rhetoric was exposed during this sham trial to be infinitely worse than anything Trump ever uttered proved to be utter piece of garbage and hypocrites we knew they were, meekly fell into line and voted with Pelosi and Schumer.
