Sen. Bill Cassidy(R,La) calls for 9-11 style Commission to investigate Jan 6,2021 insurrection.

Louisiana senator Bill Cassidy is calling for a 9-11 style commission to thoroughly investigate and lay blame where it belongs for the invasion of our nations capitol on January 6,2021. He is one of the 7 GOP senators who voted guilty in the just completed impeachment of Trump. He does not feel that the not guilty finding resolved the issue in any way and left a lot unanswered, as I also agree. We need to get to the bottom of this and determine who exactly did what with the corroborating evidence to back it up.

 

Don't remember him calling for a 9-11 style commission on the 2020 summer of leftist fascist violence, on the death of tens of thousands of elderly New Yorkers by governor Cuomo's decree and subsequent coverup, on rampant violation of state laws and the Constitution during the 2020 election, on MSM censorship, of FBI abuses and crimes, on violations of FISA....

But hey, 9-11 style commission for 1/6 is as good avenue as any to depose Pelosi, the idiot mayor of Washington DC and its police commissioner... lest we forget deposing Kamala Harris, the squad, Schumer, mad Maxine and dozens of other democrat instigators of mob violence, riots and looting during the last 4 years.

 

No doubt members of congress prefer investigations to legislation. Legislation is too hard for them.

 

Figure this.....Over the last four years how many Trump Rallies have there been? Not a one had any violent manifestations that were non-Antifa involvements. When you get a crowd of many thousands, there are always gonna be some nutcakes. As far as I know.....they even picked up their trash. Now January 6th was just another one of those rallies. Sure.....there was some anger among Trump supporters but you know what the real difference was?? Pelosi turned down the offer to have National Guard Present due to the optics. Also, there were some passages into the building where unlawful entry was not even challenged ! Why this? It is my contention Pelosi and the Sergeant at Arms (who were responsible by the way for protecting the Capitol) actually wanted an incident.....and they welcomed it! I believe that is precisely why they stopped the call for witnesses. Pelosi would have been the 1st called for the GOP and the GOP was definitely prepared to make that point!

You could imagine it would have been just another Trump Rally had there been security in place. No impeachment showcase, no Democrat extra point attempts. In fact, there may have been extra examination of voter fraud which got immediately bypassed with the illegal entry......another reason Trump would not benefit from the said "incitement".

What I have posted here is in no way taken from "Q', Fox News, or any other format. It is just observation that is available to all. It is an observation based on the fact we have endured 4 years of opposition trying to drive Trump from office and that there is a real likelihood of the fore mentioned being absolutely true!

 

He needs to be primaried, along with the rest who support this idea but do not support the same type of thorough investigation of the summertime BLM and Antifa riots. His vote to convict hopefully will seal his fate, and we can have an actual Republican in his stead.

 

You CANNOT possibly equate public demonstrations at various cities around the nation which have been reactionary, to the planned and carefully orchestrated assembly of a mob and the presidential inspirational speech to incite them into invading our nations capitol. This was concocted and driven by a president that clearly did not want to leave office. We are extremely fortunate we lost so few lives in his failed attempt to steal a legal honest election.

 

So you believe the safety of a government building is absolutely more important than a private business? Government before people? I KNOW you do. That is why we are at odds!

 

It is more than just a government building it is the seat of our democracy.

Don't remember ANY Republicans calling for a 9-11 style commission on the 2020 summer of violence, on the death of tens of thousands of elderly New Yorkers by governor Cuomo's decree and subsequent coverup, on the hoax of rampant violation of state laws and the Constitution during the 2020 election, on MSM censorship, of FBI abuses and crimes, on violations of FISA. The only hint of interest in 2020 for a 9-11 style commission was in April over the Trump Virus response, but Republicans put the kibosh on that because it would shine a spotlight on Donnie Dipshit's criminal incompetence in an election year.

 

Agree that there needs to be a thorough investigation but suspect there was internal involvement. An outside counsel with enough power to depose anyone is likely needed. Can’t have the fox guarding the hen house.

Well if they form such a commission they would be 3 for 3.

Counting the Warren Commission, the 911 Commission and this one, we would have our illustrious elected representatives finding no fault or guilt of anybody in the government for 3 events that were staged by individuals in the government.

It now appears we will have a 9-11 style commission looking into all the why's and wherefores that resulted in the capitol invasion and we will wind up paying for a lot more protection of the capitol building in the future. All things taxpayers can thank Dirty Donald for, too bad they cannot convict him and bleed him dry for all he has cost taxpayers.
