Unless you already have very serious health problems (COPD, cancer, autoimmune problems, severe asthma), COVID is 99+% likely to be...a bad cold.

 

I've had bad colds that put me in the hospital for a week.

 

I'm happy to comply with that plan. I'm 60 and carry a few lbs I'd be better off without but I have no interest in rolling the bones to see if my number happens to be one of the horror stories. I might take the jab in 6 months to a year and until then, I'm happy to make room for those who feel better about their odds.

And you wonder why it took Trump to convince Big Pharma that it was their duty to get busy or lose the good will of the government. They were not inclined to make a COVID vaccine. It's high risk and takes resources away from patented drugs that are the big money maker.

 

You probably have to sign a document promising not to sue before taking the vaccine. You know the small risk if you take it, the choice is your responsibility.
