Ted Cruz flew to Cancun with family amid Texas power crisis

I am also a registered democrat. I only change parties when there is someone I want to vote for in the primaries. I was a "Republican" for a long time. I registered that way to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries. I only switched to D so I could vote against Hillary in the primaries.

In my 36 voting years, I've voted for a D for the big chair, twice. It's mostly been either republicans or libertarians. I never, ever vote for the incumbent. (One exception; I voted for George H.W. Bush, twice.)

 

Caught what? Do you think the response fell on him or something?

 

Let's review

1. He flew to Mexico for a week long trip
2. It became public
3. He immediately bought a ticket to fly home, less than 24 hours later

Why do you think he did that?

 

Who'd you vote for this time if you don't mind saying? Which D's did you vote for?

You'd have to ask him. If he did nothing wrong, why did he do a 180 when his constituents found out?

Didn’t Cruz say he’d believe in global warming when texas freezes over? Lol

 

It's a bad look. I am a fan of much of what Ted Cruz supports and speaks on.

Nuance...the mayor of Austin was telling EVERONE ELSE to stay at home.

I think it is hilarious that liberals are always about the hair!

 

That means its a bipartisan issue, and actually it's the biggest issue facing us right now. Whatever entitlements that Trump took while he was President, those entitlements didn't impact anyone's daily life(for the most part.) But through the coronavirus and other natural disasters, local politicians are trying to revive the Caste system.

It's something we have to respond to, if we want an equal and fair society. Responding of course with the power of the vote.

Given the prominent Democrats traveling for Thanksgiving, you must forgive me if I can't work up some fauxrage here. Is the TX cold contagious like the covid? Did he spread it in Cancun?

 

Cruz slammed Adler on social media for telling people to stay home and then heading to Mexico.

Cruz is a sleaze. Everyone in DC is, but some are more expert at sleaze than others.

 

I mean c'mon. Look at that disaster of a haircut he has. That is atrocious!

 

I mean what's he supposed to do? Get on a ladder and spin the turbine? A pandemic is something he can do something about.
