    Nah - they all apologize, but only if they get caught.

    "I'm sorry I cheated on my lovely wife while snorting coke all of a hooker's butt." {as wife stands dutifully by her husband's side.}

    And the constituents lap it up and re-elect.

    That's really pretty funny........ Did Hillary apologize for Benghazi? Did Susan Rice apologize for telling concerned American a blatant lie? Did Obama apologize for a gun running operation resulting in the death of an American Border agent? No.....curious, they don't all apologize and they were caught.

    Perhaps because many of them haven't done ANY due diligence in objective vetting ~ going on the subculture / cultural aplomb of the media that they consume... The MSM hides, distorts, lies & unless one is cynical or inherently smart enough to catch it ---> they create, mold & implant the "NARRATIVE"... An example, somewhere in the teens % said if they had known about Hunter Biden & the sordid connections & illegality they would have voted differently... Well who is responsible for that "journalistic lapse"... Utter disgust!

    Not just reported on conservative media...

    You don't know me well enough to realize I was eye rolling when I wrote that. ;)

    I pretty much hate all 538 of the clowns in DC.

    While you're honest enough to have a consistent standard, I assume that you acknowledge the absolute CORRUPT GARBAGE media having a DOUBLE standard!

    Hillary Clinton took a jab at Sen. Ted Cruz's political future after his decision to vacation in CancĂșn, Mexico, during the Texas snowstorms.

    Cruz, 50, went south of the border on Wednesday while millions of his state's residents are suffering without electricity, heat, clear water and food because of winter storm Uri.

    On Thursday, an Intelligencer reporter went to Cruz's Houston neighborhood to verify that his street had lost power.
    I think that shows that Cruz doesn't care about his own block in Houston. You have to wonder whether he played golf in Cancun?

    I only had a meltdown when I thought the poodle was left alone, lol. I wouldn't have gone anywhere I couldn't take that cute little dog.
    Cruz certainly didn't show his humanitarian side by leaving for Cancun. A good dad doesn't take his daughters to a resort while others in his state suffer. A good dad would have somehow found a way to help.

    This is not a dictatorship and he can do as he pleases. He can't do any more than Joe Biden can which is give money or community service. The govenor and power companies were already fixing the problem. If people don't like it they can do a recall petition like the one for Gavin Newsom in California or is that only for Govenors?

    I have never seen a senator treated like this over a disaster in my 36 years of living.

    I have been through several here in Iowa and no politician seemed to really care and they were far worse then what Texas is going through now. Trump came to Iowa for the inland Hurricane, opened up some fed money, took a few pics and left. It did little to help Iowa. I don't see why Texas is so special and not Iowa.

    America is not a dictatorship. People can come and go as they please. Ted Cruz gets payed to sit in a chair in DC and vote on stuff. He has no power over disasters in Texas anymore than Joe Biden does.

    Stop with the liberal meltdown already.

    You really have a respect a guy, a US Senator, who runs like the wind in times of crisis...and then blames it on his daughters!

    That requires not just a spineless creep, but a very special brand of spineless creeps.

    Was he running or trying to keep his family warm while the govenor and power companies took care of the problems?

    Are Republicans not allowed to take vacations if they want to?

    America is not a dictatorship but the left wishes it was.

    He should have stayed in Mexico with his family and enjoyed the trip. It's cold here in Texas. Political fallout is why he came home early. Shoulda stayed.

    Would have thought he would have been part of the Biden group when they came to evaluate the situation and see how they could help.

    1. I stayed at several Royalton's in Cancun, and Ted's unit must have cost him at least $1,500 for a week, + plane tickets + extras = $2,500.......AND a majority of Texans can't afford this amount, thus, Ted's message to Texans in times of turmoil;

    ''Two types of Texans; Those who can afford to go away, and those who can't''

    2. If I had been Ted, I would have stayed in Texas, and help my constituents.
