#walkingwhileblack my ass. The guy was not shot for walking. He was shot because he started a fight with two officers and grabbed the officers gun. The video in your own article shows that. And you still claim the hashtag? Pfft.

 

Yes, he should have co-operated. That you apparently think that he shouldn't have is exactly why such occurrences happen. The time to fight the police is not in the middle of the street. Its in the courtroom. And you sure as hell certain better not try and grab a cops gun. That is a sure fire way (no pun intended) to get yourself shot.

PS: There is a huge difference between fighting an unjust government with guns and this situation. That difference is that we are not fighting an unjust government at this present time. And you sure as hell don't do it on an individual basis. That's just stupidity. You gather an army and then fight the government if you're going to do such.

 

After an illegal stop mind you. One of the officers even acknowledged such but then went along with it anyway.

 

And just what's the penalty for jaywalking in Orange County, CA? Probably a ticket you throw in the first trashcan you come by and forget about it. But no, fight the police and grab for their gun, yep, a real Mensa member. Love to know what the toxicology report shows on his autopsy, and maybe a peek at his rap sheet too.

 

Oh I completely agree, you don’t ever resist a person with a badge and a gun — those items give them almost absolute immunity should something go wrong. That wasn’t the point I was raising though.

I did not see anything in the video that looked like he was going for his weapon and an officers word doesn’t hold the same weight it use to in my mind.

All cops should be required to wear body cams at all times.

 

The cops should just have given him a warning and left it at that, or worst case given him a a ticket. No need for any physical violence.

 

The cops went after him for no reason. They created a problem where there was none. And you can tell by the audio before they confront him that the cops were looking to screw with this guy.

 

Or prisons are filled with murderers and rapists. Somehow they weren't killed while being arrested either. Why not use the thousands upon thousands of other arrests in your comparison.

 

Because that is what our system is supposed to do — arrest and hold “murderers and rapists”. It is not supposed to starve people to death in jail or bend to their dietary wants.

 

How does that negate my point. Why are singling out one arrest which goes how it is supposed to go and comparing to another which statistically is an extremely rare case.
Then claim some fallacious 2 systems bs.

There are 10,000,000+ arrests a year in the US. That is thousands per day. There are millions per year that go as they are supposed to, not just white guys in cos play.

 

They disagreed on whether the person jaywalked. That does not constitute an "illegal stop".

 

The video showed it towards the end. They even circled the exact moment that the guy went for the gun. Not that they needed to. I saw it just fine. In the recording from the witness you can also hear the cop that the idiot grabbed his gun.

 

It was the black guy who initiated the violence. The video shows that.

 

Just my opinions after watching the video.
1) although racism can't really be proved here, I get the impression they wouldn't have done the same thing to a white jaywalker
2) if they DID do the same thing to a white jaywalker, the white jaywalker wouldn't have acted all crazy because common sense (cops have guns are legally allowed to use them, don't act a fool and settle in court if needed)

Police reform is needed but teaching blacks HOW TO CONDUCT YOURSELF around cops really wouldn't have hurt. This guy could have sucked it up and been sitting pretty with lawsuit money right now.

 

No it wasn't. The cop was trying to detain him, for a minor offence worthy of only a warning.

 

I agree with that 100%, but he also is still the one who initiated the violence regardless if the detainment was unjust (which I think was unjust)...still acting like a crazy fool when cops bother you doesn't really help, as proven in this video

 

I got pulled over once, because my Vehicle resembled a Car used in a Robbery, I had Six Deputies around my Car with Guns drawn and when they got me out of my Car a Police Dog was about 5 ft away from me ready to sink his Fangs into my Lily soft skin. I knew I had done nothing wrong, but I wasn't going to fight them over it, Grab for one of their Guns and have White Fang Rip my Face off, while they Ventilated my Strong muscular Body. After about 1/2 Hour, they realized they had the wrong vehicle and sent me on my way without an apology. Pissed me off, but I'm here today to write about my experience with Police, while sipping a nice warm cup of Coffee on the Couch, but Kurt Andras Reinhold is lying in a Morgue Dead, because he was a Stupid *******. Moral of the Story, don't be an Idiot and Grab for a Police Officers Gun, because even if BLM and Self Loathing, Guilt ridden White Liberals complain incessantly about the injustice of the Cops shooting you, you still Died a Horribly Painful Death and are now Worm Food.

He wasn’t killed for jaywalking!!!! He was killed for fighting with a cop and eventually trying to steal a weapon. You SHOULD be shot for that. Same way passing out drunk in a drive through, hitting police, then stealing a taser and running off should get you shot. Same way ignoring cops, and attempting to grab a weapon from your car or flee with children on that car should get you shot.

Tome and time again stupid people get shot for doing stupid ****, but that’s why they’re shot. For being STUPID, not for being black. Why? Because 10s of millions never get shot, because they’re NOT stupid.

 

OJ Simpson was a Wife Abuser and Slaughtered TWO White people and got away with it. Yes! there are TWO justice systems in America.

 

1: Cops have to detain someone to give them a warning. A warning is no good if you don't get at least the persons name in order to keep track if the person habitually violates the minor offense. BTW, did you know that jaywalking in CA is an almost a $200 ticket? Not counting court costs.
2: The guy didn't even give them a chance to issue a warning. He was belligerent right from the start.

 

Yours is a point accurately made, and the same principle of deliberately refusing to obey police orders and fighting against the police is what we also saw in 2020 with George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, Kenneth Walker (Breonna Taylor's boyfriend), and many others, going all the way back to Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014!

If these creeps had obeyed legitimate police instructions instead of refusing to comply with the police or fighting them, the outcomes would have very likely have been entirely different! But -- OH -- the hyperliberal "news" media never tell us that, and so BLM/ANTIFA mobs get to run wild destroying, burning, or stealing everything in sight. Is THAT "justice"...?
