This isn't for comedy. I legit want to know, between the choices of "white", "other" and "prefer not to say" what will get me in the quickest?
Also, it says "If other race, please specify"

Is it mandatory that you respond to that question? If not, I'd skip it.

If so, I personally would choose "prefer not to say" but maybe others have some better ideas. I hate questionnaires like that. Too nosy for my liking.

I doubt it matters on a state site.

if its an option, then it matters. they also made it clear its EVERYONE else before WHITES with this vaccine thing.
I just put "other" and then specified "Mediterranean". Hopefully that bumps me up a little further than "regular ole white folk"

Demographic data does not necessarily matter. It may would more likely matter if you lived in a black majority area as then it might be more likely you end up getting routed to a pop up site or Needle Mobile in your hood.

Everything is about race today. Try listening to NPR for 15 minutes without "person of color" coming up in the conversation.

New Jersey has the 14th highest black population when ranked among all 51 states. That isn't super high, but high enough for me to worry about this racial privilege nonsense. especially since COVID does not have an ethnicity

Go to NC. Heard somewhere or the other they have given more jabs to people out of state than in state due to lack of demand.

At least they have cut the term from 7 syllables to 5. They used to call it African American but that, apparently, wasn't inclusive enough. I will continue to use the single syllable term.

I said "prefer not to say" which is why perhaps I have been waiting for weeks.

Not likely to be a deciding factor in your prioritization. I ask demographic questions when recruiting for my product tests, but it is just used for collecting demographic statistics after the fact, not for acceptance prioritization.

The term applies to more than just African American/black people. It's a broader term that encompasses more people. Anyone capable of drawing a Venn Diagram should be able to understand this.

I read your post, hence why I corrected it. If you think that "They used to call it African American" and that it is the equivalent of your "single syllable term," then you either don't understand the phrase or you are deliberately misrepresenting it. Let us know which.

I said the term african american probably wasn't inclusive enough. You said the same thing, ignoring that I had already said it. I represented african american as a 7 syllable phrase. It is. I prefer the single syllable phrase "black." Did that spell it out well enough for you?

You have presented those terms as equivalent to "person of color" while also pretending you know it isn't. Make up your mind. Do you understand that the terms aren't equivalent, and hence understand that your post was vapid nonsense, or do you not understand this fact and need further explanation?

Telling that this is the "response" to the basic application of logic and functional literacy.

Again, it's a pity that you are not willing or able to address basic logic and are forced to instead ask it to go away, but very well. Ta ta.
