We would probably do better with voter education.

Clearly... that's precisely why we ought to try out Ranked Voting next.

Voting never fixes anything. Not ever. Voters get what they deserve.

If we switched to Ranked Voting, it'd be a heck of a lot more effective.

There is some truth in that. Though I'd say its debatable as to exactly how much, at least when it comes to Plurality Voting. Because if the political system regularly forces voters to choose between only bad options (and systems based on Plurality Voting certainly do) then I think its hard to say that bad political outcomes are 100% the fault of the voters. I do think its fair to put some of the blame on voters, but is clear to me that a system that forces such choices should be blamed even more-so.

I'm a believer in outlawing political parties. The best system is no political parties. Second best is many political parties. 2 parties or 1 would be my last choice. I'm surprised most people settle for what the government has set itself up to be.

Well, we have to understand that the only real avenue for effectuating change provided to most people has been up to this point through their participation in the Plurality systems (via their vote) which unfortunately just inherently tends towards a two-party system (mainly due to things like spoiler effect and tactical voting). That's why, if we don't like the two-party system, we ought to buckle down and get rid of our Plurality elections.

If we were to do that, and replace Plurality elections with Ranked Voting, then, over time, your vision of no political parties... or many smaller less dominating parties... would become a reality without the need to explicitly outlaw political organizations.

Those pictues have provided the FBI with plenty of evidence to arrest over 200 people in that insurrection. Trump is the farthest thing from innocent on that day,

I wish I could like this more than once, until we fix the parties and give Americans actual choice, nothing will change.

The idiots who went into the Capitol are responsible for their actions.

Opinion over reinterpretation of the words spoken, is just that, opinion. If you want to hold him culpable for oft spoken words, then MLK has a few things to answer for also....

I don't think even THEY believe it. It's a backup for a racism/ethnicism as thoroughgoing as the Nazis but without the Nazis ideological base

About a decade ago one the neo-nazi upper echelon publicly denounced the movement. The reason being that he'd hadn't known until then that the Nazis in Germany executed children for having a harelip and his niece, who he loved dearly, had this affliction until it was corrected

This so called "story" is a current event in your opinion? Liberals just can't stop talking and thinking about Trump.

A "Let's Make Trump President on March 4th" rally led by Flat-Earthers and Bigfoot Worshippers?

No, your delusion is just reinforcing itself. You fell for the single greatest scam ever fabricated (the Russian collusion hoax) but you're not ready to deal with that and so, with ego in defense mode, you're latching on to a minor cluster of dinks no one takes seriously (QAnon) and using them as some sort of tissue-thin shield against the reality that when it comes to being a party to a conspiracy theory these people couldn't hold a candle to what the leftist elite duped its supporters of. They couldn't even come close, not anywhere in the vicinity, they are an ant hill to your Everest, a one-man-band to your Gazprom Orchestra, a pee-wee leaguer to your Babe Ruth.

"A woman in Chattanooga, Tenn., was just days away from moving out of the house she and her partner bought five years earlier. “I feel like I’m in a twisted black mirror episode that’s lasting WAY too long,” she wrote. “I feel hopeless that we will ever get back to the beautiful life we shared in our lovely home.”

A woman in Palm Beach, Fla., had gone two weeks without speaking to her mother and was starting to wonder if the rift was irreparable. “I grieve for her every day as if she is dead,” she wrote.

A teenager in Annapolis, Md., worried that she no longer “knew” her father. “I’ve come to the breaking point,” she confessed. “My heart goes out to everyone else in this situation. It really sucks.”"

I don't like Q anymore than I trust MSNBC but here's a scenario leftists might consider and it would be real fun for us American Patriots!
Trump is elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2022 when they take both the House and Senate. Then he is made Speaker of the House. Then we have two impeachments right away. They are easily convicted. First....Creepy Joe, then Kamala. Guess who that leaves as President? President Donald J. Trump! He serves the remaining two and is elected in 2024 for his second term! He is the 1st President to serve 10 years. About the time required to Drain the Swamp and make America Great Again!

Yep. Hear hear! Definitely good to see some other posters here who are on board with the idea of moving towards Ranked Voting and ending the two-party stranglehold on our government. The more folk willing to accept a change like that, the sooner we can have a political system we don't all have to be ashamed of. :happycry:
