I mixed up threads. The opinion comment was supposed to be for your thread with the poll. But in regards to your “objection” to the Boy Scouts, it’s meaningless. The Boy Scouts don’t care about your objection.

 

When did I say that they DID care about my objection?

There is nothing in the Girl Scouts' by-laws saying they can't camp. The girls simply aren't as into camping and outdoorsy activities as boys. I was involved in both when my kids were growing up.

For the record, I think it is terrible the way womens' organizations, as well as sleazy lawyers who encourage everyone to sue, sue, sue for something that may have happened 40 years ago, but cannot be proven now, have pretty much gutted the boy scouts. It was a good organization. It is sad that there is hardly any place left that boys can just be boys without being infiltrated by girls.

 

The boys can infiltrate the girl’s locker room. Must be nice to be a teenage boy in this day and age. Say you are gender fluid (a real thing that means you can be whatever gender you want and can switch as you please; I will point out they said this was not possible when all this took off years ago, but they changed their mind on the switching), then they can hop in the group locker room shower with their erection and shower with the girls.

I graduated in 97. I remember the big group shower in the guy’s locker room. Oh how awesome it would have been to skip that shower and just get naked with the girls in their locker room for the required gym shower. Probably would have blown a load just from the overwhelming visual at that age.

Back when the trans thing was just getting started, Mike Huckabee made a joke about what he would have done in high school, if he as allowed. He said “gee coach, I feel like a girl on gym days, so I can shower with them”.

The woke side said “that can’t happen”. They swore up and down his joke was BS and exaggerated. But now exactly that has happened. Not only do they have a term for just up and switching what gender you say you are from hour to hour (gender fluid), but a man doesn’t have to dress the part. They just say how they identify and their word has to be taken. They can say they are a woman, dressed in biker gear and a flowing beard, and they have to allowed in the women’s areas.

So what the trans rights crowd said was BS and would not happen, happened.

I remember when one of the MSNBC anchors, I think the brother of the guy in trouble with women accusers right now, told a father on air that maybe it was his young daughter that was a bigot for being uncomfortable with an exposed penis going to the bathroom next to her.

So there you have it, the left thinks young girls should be accepting of men exposing themselves to them if they claim they are a woman.
