Yes. The ratings will be through the roof. He may announce a run for a FL House seat followed by ascension to the Speakership, though, he doesn't have to hold a House seat to assume the Speakership, he just needs the votes of a majority of the House. I expect that his speech will focus on ensuring an America First Majority elected to Congress in 2022 that serves The People, not The Swamp, the Mega Corporations, the Globalists, the Military Industrial Complex, the Racist Woke Authoritarians and the Politically Connected.

I hope he doesn't run. Independents make up just under 1/3rd of the electorate. They narrowly voted for Trump in 2016, and heavily against him in 2020. And remember ... that was before the January 6th fiasco. No candidate can win without a majority of the Independents, and those Independents are not going to back Trump in 2024. He would not only lose, but he would lose big - landslide big.

What the Republicans need is Trump policies in the personage of a likeable, experienced politician. Trump's policies are still very popular.

Democrats are not going to govern a split and polarized population well, and they will be vulnerable in 2024. If Republicans are smart, they have a good chance of winning. Nominating Trump would not be smart.

Trump, alone, has taken on the Swamp and remained true to his ideals and even won some of the scrambles. There are some things about our government, that Trump exposed simply by resisting them, that are frankly shocking.
    • Trump tried to pull all US troops out of Syria, and the Swamp refused.
    • Trump tried to pull out of Afghanistan, and Congress blocked him.
    • Trump tried to release all the information related to the illegal spying on his Administration by the Deep State, and the Deep State refused to release it.
    • Trump was impeached twice for engaging in politically protected Free Speech.
    • Prosecutors are fairly openly proclaiming that they will hound him and his family for the rest of their years, for things they would never pursue against the "approved" and politically connected.
Essentially these are all the trappings of an unofficial nobility, which is forbidden in our system as no one has an inherent right to rule, all governmental authority is derived from The People and all exercises of authority must be Just and Legitimate. They are clearly exercising Unjust and Illegitimate Authority.

I think Trump has accomplished what can be accomplished as President, we cannot restore Constitutional Authority over the Government from the Presidency. Congress controls the pursestrings, I think that's the next front in the battle to restore America's Liberal Constitutional Democracy.

We know what the Woke Authoritarians are like, the rank and file Left is just becoming aware and I am seeing signs that it shocks them to their core. We Constitutionalists complain that our elected "representatives" don't represent us, I think that may go triple for the Left.
    • Book Bannings,
    • Cancel Culture,
    • Racist Indoctrination
    • Speech and Thought control
    • Men dominating women's sports
    • Chemical Castration of Children
    • Blacklists
    • Illegal Government Spying
    • Predatory Prosecutors Hounding Opponents while excusing felonies by The Connected
    • Union School Teachers who Refuse To Return To The Classroom
I think the rank and file Left is in shock and appalled.

This is what I expect to hear more about from Trump.

These crazed fanatics in DC have actually placed into the "COVID Relief" bill, that includes a one time payment of $1400 for us, a weekly $1400 payment for Federal Employees who chose to stay home because their kids (and no age limit, so could include college age children) choose an online study option. If both parents are Federal Employees they BOTH can draw $1400 a week!

Not for any of us. Not for us that have put our children in a private school that is open so we can return to work, while we continue to pay the taxes that pays the Union School Teachers who sit at home drawing paychecks. Nope. Just For Federal Workers!

I think this parade of clear abuses is even more shocking to the Left than it is to us, because, I don't think they realized how deeply nuts their "leadership" is and its becoming undeniable.

Scathing article, which is as much about the total disdain of truth and objectivity we get from today's Left State Media as it is an indictment of Cuomo's inhumane decisions and failure on Covid policy. The fact that he never evolved over 40-50 years of "women's movements" and didn't learn how not to talk to female colleagues is somewhat unsurprising. Neanderthal thinking.

Republicans seems fairly well set for 2024, whether DeSantis is "the guy" in two years, or if Biden's border crisis turns into a total calamity by the time people start to look seriously at the next election (in which case Gov Abbott will be looking like a hero). Anyway, at this early stage, a DeSantis-Noem nomination seems pretty strong.

Yes, it is. I don't think it really matters much who Republicans/Independents/Libertarians nominate in 2024.

We're about 50 days into the Biden administration and the implosion of public approval from bad-policy decisions is fairly easy to predict.

I think both major parties face significant internal turmoil before 2024. I have no idea what that will yield.

I predict the largest display of turmoil will happen when the DNC and media decide it's time to start talking about Biden's dementia. They'll give him a chance to "resign" with dignity, and he'll probably have enough remaining brain cells to do. The alternative will be the 25th Amendment.

Either way, he probably won't make it to 2024 and the DNC can install the first black/woman president who they really wanted as the nominee, but couldn't get over the fact that she didn't go over as well with Democrat voters as they thought she would.

Anyway, Harris-Pelosi running the country as leaders of the free world after Joe permanently wanders off the stage will be a hoot. Terrifying to most of America, but it will make for some good memes while we temporarily crash and burn until after the next election.

I think you're overstating the dementia possibility.

Well, my crystal ball is in the shop, and never worked perfectly when it was brand new and under warranty, but I don't think Biden will make it four years.

What on earth do you make of Democrats propping up a dementia ridden plagiarist that one last 1 term?

Pretty easy to identify someone capable of speaking extemporaneously and makes people feel secure. "[The Constitution] I truly believe it is that foundation that has kept America special for so many years."

    Recent Kristi Noem interview:

Also easy to identify someone whose rambling directionless speech which makes people uneasy. Biden says, "Indian Americans are taking over the country"....and thanks them for bringing back the American spirit and something, something American democracy versus autocracy.

I think Republicans are going to hit a home run in 2024, but don't tell anyone.

Kristi Noem Rejects Bill to Save Girls' Sports for Biological Girls After Intense Lobbying By... You Guessed It, Corporate Interests

Good. She's out of the running for higher office. Done.

"Her pretexts for not signing the bill are just that -- pretexts. She's not signing it because our corporate overlords -- especially our tech overlords -- have mandated that Trans Women are Women for all purposes, no exceptions."

Apparently she's running for president of the socially-leftwing Chamber of Crony Capitalists "which is an absolute cancer on the conservative movement."
If we wanted someone who talked a good talk and then looked for the first opportunity to cave to the Left, we could have gone with Jeb! And of course, Romney would be happy to lose again, or put on a clinic on how to cave, if he won.

No professional psychiatrists have come forward saying that they can diagnose Biden as having dementia. Given which, I don't think that an amateur has a chance of doing it reliably.
