So, just a question to our leftist posters here. This happened in Los Angeles, right? This occurred in a city that has some of the most restrictive gun owner policies in the country. How does the dog walker get shot? How did the restrictive gun policies of Los Angeles prevent this crime from happening?

I feel sad for the man shot and his family. He assumed that in Los Angeles, because he couldn't open carry his own weapon for defensive purposes that the defunded police because Garcetti reprioritized his funding would still protect him when he transited the pubic streets. And ...gasp..... he was wrong. The assurance of government that the residents of Los Angeles is "safe" because the democrats who run it said so, were....again..... gasp..... wrong. How do these "video documentation suggests that the perps were black men" thugs have a concealed weapon in LA? Why do we think said thugs had the stones to shoot someone on the sidewalk of a public street in Los Angeles think they can get away with their behavior? Gosh... That's a lot of questions that I assume none of our left leaning friends on the forum will ever be able to answer...

Just remember, if you make guns illegal, only criminals will have them (I suppose this is why so many liberals want to defund police as well).

Having reflected, I suspect that the reward for return of the dogs is also intended to be a reward for the capture of the perpetrators. It's difficult to contemplate having one without the other and it wouldn't surprise me if this was discussed behind closed doors.

Given Gaga's other humanitarian efforts, it seems improbable that she would have no thoughts of justice for her dog walker.

But if you think about how these celebrities work, they have a whole team discussion for every public interaction. All of this is likely to have been discussed in a group setting, strategized, and in consultation with the police. Of course they would word it like that. Return with photo ID, and fingerprints, lol? Don't forget those crims have to get that money somehow. Everything will be monitored.

Cities are where the jobs are, which is why so many people live in them. People in large multicultural cities need to be tolerant of those from other cultures, rubbing elbows with so many, and with tolerance often comes liberalism. Does that mean that more liberals than conservatives want to work? Of course not. But it does mean that more poor people, especially minorities, choose city life, for both the prospect of work and the hope for tolerance.

With so much poverty comes crime, and with crime comes violence. It isn't partisan, just desperation and proximity.

In fact the guy shot is black and gay. If he was shot for both reasons there should be outrage as a hate crime. Since it does not appear to be a hate crime the outrage rightfully so is over a human shot and helpless dogs kidnapped. That's what we see. For God's sake man your anger has turned you into a hateful person where you can not even register a bad event without needing to turn it into a bigoted rigid black v. white dispute.
