When has California ever been a monolithic state? Reagan and Nixon came from California, as does Devon Nunes and Kevin McCarthy.

Actually, I think I saw this movie. Was the senior prom queen considered ugly until she took off her glasses and waved her hair in slo-mo?

Earl Warren came from California too
    Remember, The Warren Court?

and as governor an advocate for the
internment of American citizens of Japanese
    ancestry.

    California Politik, bipartisan
rests with ole Bay Area Dynasties.

And that Boys & Girls is why
their party subverted the Pete Wilson - R
and Arnold Schwarzenegger - R governorships.
    Do The Math.
Somehow Senators & Governors are more
    Bay Area politik
    Although the voters live . . .

    psst, and Kamala too!

~ It may very well be a politically monolithic state today due to vote fraud.

It is no longer CPAC, it's equal parts TPAC and QPAC.

I just saw a clip of Ted Cruz at the shindig, screaming about everything. Is it just me, or does he seem like he's off his meds? I hope he at least takes blood pressure meds ... he looked and sounded like he was going to stroke out.

How many congressional Republicans have recently been canceled by their own party for daring to disparage Trump? Cancel culture, indeed, plus grievance/victim culture.

No, I think I'll start with "the Democrat cancel culture attacks".

    Here's the cancel culture:

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/joewal...own-party-for-crossing-trump/?sh=3c5014454a0f

Add hypocrisy to that for accusing Democrats of being the only ones canceling freedoms, such as free speech.

I made it about 5 minutes into watching his rant, thus far this morning. He is a fascinating case study of R politics. All of the rural rubes that vote R, vote for this guy. He lives in River Oaks Houston. He went to Princeton and Harvard and as a young man achieved substantial success in debate. His goofy nerd movie references at about 4 minutes are kinda cool. I find him insincere and lacking in candor. His lack of character I believe should disqualify him from holding a position in the Senate, but I suppose this has never been a precluding factor to anyone in all of history....

I saw some of his "performance" and he should just stop. His material was actually good but his delivery was terrible. He needs to put in the work; spend a couple of years hitting the comedy clubs and then we'll see if he's ready for some bigger stadium venues.

What a bunch of crap, Florida 8n fact, is lower in per capital deaths than New York in spite of having a much older population. California is will surpass Florida on the per capita death toll list within a month. There is little to no evidence that lock downs do much more than empower the worst sort of political charlatans.

The cancel culture has been in existence since man picked up a club..

First a club or rock were the tools used to cancel
    another person

then in the 1600’s rifles, guns and knives began being used to cancel people

The ultimate form of canceling a person is by murder

in these modern times laws and technology , people are searching for a different form of canceling a person without the need for murder ..

for thousands of years people that committed murder were considered a hero ..and many people killed others to become a hero ..

Now some people try to become a hero by canceling a person without committing murder

Actually, she was anything but a shrinking violet. All four years of high school she was our class Vice President, was the team captain on both the girls’ volleyball and basketball teams, and played the lead role in the school play one year. She was one of the more popular girls in school.

When I see those teenage coming of age movies, they always seem to feature at least one mean girl, and her cackle of friends. I have always found those a little off because I had never encountered a mean girl in high school, not with the type of behavior that is often depicted in the movies. And I was socially active, to the extreme, at times. But then as I think back, it may be that they just were never mean to me. The movie you may actually be thinking of, is where the nobody kids are sitting around watching the popular girl, who is clearly out of their league, where one is wishing he could get her, but his friend is telling him, “You don’t have a chance with her. How could you ever compete against Ollie”. While the neighboring homely girl looks on wishing he liked her.

I think that you are confused here. Any objective observer can clearly see that the message coming out of the right wing narrative does not square with reality, and seems intent on inciting insurrection. Responsible outlets are not about to add to the radicalization of an unhinged segment of our citizenry.

It is almost funny, a political movement that sought to invalidate many millions of other people’s votes, in an effort to claim a victory that it did not win, cries that somehow they are the victims here.

The cancel culture we are witnessing is unpatriotic and un-American.

If you approve of it, shame on you.

Any problem with many Repubs trying to cancel the result of the election, the Constitution, the legitimacy of the majority to govern, congressional oversight of the executive, etc.?

Cancel culture is not much more than a meme living its 15 minutes of fame. The majority of the time, show something or someone that got "cancelled," you'll find they were deserving.
